You look beautiful and well over 10 years younger!

BusySittingDown · 09/06/2018 11:22

Older than 48? Who the fuck told you that?!? Never in a million years! Smile

I would have put you at around my age (34).

TheMythicalChicken · 09/06/2018 11:24

Your hair looks lovely! You must promise to come back and post a pic from your wedding.

Heismyopendoor · 09/06/2018 11:25

Wow!! Would not have said you are the same age as my mum!! You look younger than me!!
I think it would look very pretty down with a nice accessory in your hair

Orchidflower1 · 09/06/2018 11:26

Whoever told you over 48 is clearly looking at the wrong person! I would have put you early 30s at the most. I think either a little tiara or have up with a sparkly clip- whichever is comfier. Hope you have a fab day whatever x

Lobsterquadrille2 · 09/06/2018 11:29

I can't recall who said that but it would be on another thread I posted. I know it's stupid but it made me chuck away the hairpiece and buy a wig!
Still only have about three inches at the back and my real fear is that I'll be walking up the aisle and the wig will fall off. The hairpiece was more secured with clips.
Thank you to a PP, I have a 20 year old who'll be back from university next week and I'll ask her.

However he says I can walk up the aisle bald and he won't mind!

You look lovely, You look so young. Would never have thought you where 48.

NinaCopita · 09/06/2018 11:37

Blimey. Anyone who thinks you look older than 48 needs their eyes testing! If I look as good as you when I'm 48 I'll be a happy woman!

I'm mixed race and used to wear wigs. I always paid someone to put it up for me as only stresses myself out trying to do it myself.

It's a lovely wig and frames your face beautifully. Just lovely. Best of luck!

Lobsterquadrille2 · 09/06/2018 11:42

Nearly 49 actually!

You look lovely. Half up and half down will work better because of the hairline at the back. Is it real hair? Even if not, your hairdresser will be able to put it up for you easily and then you just need to hang it on the stand over night . If you’re wearing it down I found wearing a hat on top the day before helped it flatten down and sit moRe naturally. If it’s real hair stick some serum in it.

Have a wonderful day.

Weezol · 09/06/2018 11:49

My mum went walking on the north east coast last Christmas and her wig didn't blow off. It's a common fear in the early days of wig wearing.

When she first lost her hair she was beyond devastated and it took her a few years to cope with it. A bit of her would like to go out bald, but she's not there yet. She did laugh when I said that for her first bald outing, I would write 'and what?' on the back of her head Grin

BlytheByName · 09/06/2018 11:51

Go for it ! You look lovely.

Helloflamingogo · 09/06/2018 11:52

Also if you wear a hair net underneath your wig will feel more secure, i promise!

TheSassyAssassin · 09/06/2018 11:54

Aww lobster you look beautiful. Congrats on your wedding and hair really suits you. Bet your wedding pics will be stunning. Have a fantastic day lovely Smile

Lobsterquadrille2 · 09/06/2018 12:02

A hair net! Nobody has suggested that. What, an ordinary hair net!?

I can literally put a dress on and this thing falls off, hence the stress.

My old hair piece was so easy but apparently I looked really old.

You look gorgeous OP! Definitely nowhere near looking 48 Shock The colouring of the wig is perfect too, it looks amazing against your skin tone and makes your eyes pop!

FanDabbyFloozy · 09/06/2018 12:10

I like the hairpiece too!

TheSassyAssassin · 09/06/2018 12:10

I think it's the colour Lobster. 2nd pic looks v bleached blonde and doesn't suit your skin tone. First pic with the honey tones is much more flattering and youthful against your skin IMHO.

byanyothernamerose · 09/06/2018 12:10

You look like a beautiful 30 year old...congratulations on your wedding, you are going to be a stunning bride! I love the hair! ❤️

catarinapovre5 · 09/06/2018 12:12

You look stunning x
