I love Benefit!
I would definately get them to do you a makeover if you have a stall near you and then buy whatever you like from that. They do do a cheaper touche eclat but I have forgotten the name! But I get a makeover every few months so they can try out new stuff and I feel all pampered!

expatinscotland · 18/05/2007 14:34

LOVE their stuff!

YumMumFatBum · 18/05/2007 14:34

Benefit Shelaq is brilliant, I use it everyday.
Its great for stopping panda eyes, I put it on over my eyeliner and mascara.
I also use the Georgia peachy powder too as a blusher.

NomDePlume · 18/05/2007 14:34

is lemon aid their rip off touche eclat ?

MrsDiorKeanuReeves · 18/05/2007 14:35

Yum. They have cream eyeshadows back in - FAB! I bought 'skinny jeans' the other day, a sort of grey/brown colour and it is amazing. LOVE benefit...

expatinscotland · 18/05/2007 14:35

NO. Much better than Touche Eclat, IMO.

As is their Boo-ing.

thedogsbollox · 18/05/2007 14:36

I love it!

Their mascara is good - also blusher. The lip and cheek tint is good if you want just a bit of sheer colour.

The face powders are good for sorting out any underlying colouring issues! I have red blotchines at times (sensitive skin) and it really helps play it down!

I'm sure you'll have great fun - the girls on the counter I went to were really good and not too pushy IYKWIM

fishie · 18/05/2007 14:37

the eye bright is one of my favourite things ever. lemon aid also suppoosed to be v good. i'd like to
try high beam

tombley · 18/05/2007 14:37

I love benetint. Stops people asking me if I'm ok cos I'm looking peaky.

rosealbie · 18/05/2007 14:37

brow zings is fab, it's a brow shaping kit with a tinted wax and then a powder with a little brush. Comes in two shades I think.

Another vote for the Georgia powder too.

suzywong · 18/05/2007 14:37

I was thinking of a makeover but the only retail outlet for literally thousands of kilometres is manned by a 19 year old who clearly didn't remember Robert Smith first time round and thinks she's being original. She scares me.

bt thanks for the ideas, keep them coming, I'm off to bed.

I always forget the names so have checked my bag.
Dr Feelgood is great as a base, makes your skin all smooth and lovely.
Benetint is the only blusher I don't fuck up.
Georgia is a lovely powder that gives colour.
Bad Gal lash is awesome (if not very waterproof)
And I use their pineapple facial polish as often as I can as it smells gorgoues and really wakes you up.
Ooh, and Hello Neighbour face mask is good as well

MrsDiorKeanuReeves · 18/05/2007 14:37

I want the Dallas bronzer, but it is £22, and h would notice!

rosealbie · 18/05/2007 14:39

I got my Georgia powder on ebay brand new. I know you can't be sure of 'freshness' of cosmetics on ebay but I thought I couldn't go wrong with powder. Paid about £11 I think

bakedpotato · 18/05/2007 14:39

Benetint (cheek/lip stain): *. Lasts forever.
I also like Dallas (bronzer) and Dandelion (brightener) powders, and LemonAid

thentherewasthree · 18/05/2007 14:43

I bought benefit make up for my wedding day. Benetint and high beam - was lovely!

suzywong · 18/05/2007 14:44

do they stock anything to make my upper arms look less fleshy?

OP posts:
suzywong · 18/05/2007 14:52

anymore for anymore?

AnnaPhylactic · 18/05/2007 16:23

Dr Feelgood

Dandelion powder

MrsBadger · 18/05/2007 16:46

the yellow eyelid stuff - is it LemonAid?
also the boing concealer
and the It Stick pencil concealer

High Beam is a lovely idea but don't use it if your skin tends towards the oily

Chirpygirl · 18/05/2007 16:55

Ooh, and the leg gel, can't remember what it is called, but it has menthol in and I used a whole tube last time I was pregnant in about a month, it's a firming type thing...might work on arms too!

DimpledThighs · 18/05/2007 16:59

dandelion powder is bliss for an instant radiance./

littlerach · 18/05/2007 17:07

I have the high beam, and the lip plump.
I didn't like their lip balm though.
I love the bubble bath, think it was actually like bath powder, and have the moisturiser too. Smell lovely. Also had the shaving cream ages ago and was nice.
My mate swears by the lemon aid and the dandelion one.

littlelamb · 18/05/2007 18:17

High beam gives you a lovely healthy dewy look, and stops makeup making your skin look completely false, iyswim. And Boo-ing concealer is amazing, i have the biggest spot on my chin today, and noone will ever know

BellaBear · 18/05/2007 18:20

I have a realness of concealness pack which has a few little things in it and I've been given Hign Beam which is good for looking dressy without much effort.
