I love the You Rebel tinted moisturiser. Also the two in one lip and cheek cream blush

snowwonder · 19/05/2007 17:04

suzy ... is there a few things called dr feelgood?

what is the eyebright?

twinsetandpearls · 19/05/2007 17:25

Love benefit, dp has given me a £50 voucher and a makover for monday.

Their foumdations are excellent second only to chanel and equal to prescriptives.

Cheek tint is a must as is high beam. Bad girl eye liner is great. I have some fab eye shadow collections and the under eye concealer is also great.

Will try some of the other recommended products on monday.

A friend of mine has just given me some Benefit for my birthday - a 'Fake It' concealer kit. Beeatch (joking, it's actually a fab present, especially when you have a complexion like mine).

LaDiDaDi · 19/05/2007 20:27

I love Dandelion and Hoola, I wear a combination of both every day. I also like my Benetint.

All of the Benefit products I've had have lasted ages frequent use so they are definitely worth the money.

Oh it's all so LOVELY

it's only 5.50pm here and I 'm decked out in all my splendour and my weekend velour jogging suit.

I asked dh if he noticed any difference;

"Errrrrrrrrr, No! It doesn't make you look fat" he ejaculated in bewilderment

For anyone ordering from the U.S. website, add High Beam to your basket then enter the code MODBRIDE. Hopefully it still works - I used it last week and it gives you High Beam for free!!!

FWIW my Benefit stash includes:

Some Kinda Gorgeous - suits-all cream to powder foundation
Brow Zings
High Brow pencil (helps 'open up' eyes)
New Creaseless cream eyeshadow (simply divine)
10 blusher - like blush and highlighter in one
Maybe Baby body lotion
You're Bluffing - yellow concealer

Most purchased in US or online - watch out for customs though.

Dandelion
Bluff stick - anyone tried the powder?
booing
lemon aid
benetint
I am impressed with all the above
highbeam - have this but never use it
lipglosses - nothing amazing
dr feelgood - not sure, don't use this much
kalifornia kissin - addicitve
have never tried the mascara as I am wedded to lancome
I don't use the foundations as I don't rate them

have never tried the moisturiser or body products

DarthVader · 05/04/2008 20:24

oh year boots have a 500 points offer on Benefit at the moment

fishie · 05/04/2008 20:28

gosh nice to see this thread again. i am still using the same stick of eye bright. every day for three years. shelacq is really good too. less keen on boing, texture good but it is too yellow for me, wish they did a pinkier one.

MrsJohnCusack · 05/04/2008 20:50

eyebright and bentint are truly fabulous

RipMacWinkle · 12/04/2008 15:44

Well I read this thread last week before I went to NY for work and you girls cost me a fortune. All good though.

I hit the Benefit counter and bought:
Lemon Aid
Erase Paste (instead of Bo-ing) as rec'd by the girl
You Rebel Light (as I am a pasty Celtic skin girl)
Dandelion (plus 1 for my sister and 1 for a friend!)
Benetint
That Gal (brightening face primer)
And the lovely girl gave me 2 lip glosses free.

I've been looking at Benefit for years so this was an excuse to buy since the $ is still ok plus it's cheaper over there anyway.

So thanks for the advice everyone!

lizandlulu · 12/04/2008 15:51

i have just bought the erase paste and it is excellent, also have the you rebel lite tinted moisturiser, it stops me looking rough!

bobsyouruncle · 12/04/2008 16:18

which bronzer is best for medium toned skin? I see there are 3 to choose from on their website... Also, is the you rebel tinted moisturiser good for medium toned skin, ie not too light or too dark?

lizandlulu · 12/04/2008 16:41

not usre about the bronzer, i am fair skinned and they all are to dark for me. the you rebel is also too dark, but the you rebel lite is new and good for my skin. the old rebel is fairly dark.

bobsyouruncle · 12/04/2008 17:36

thanks, may avoid the bronzers then as I hate too dark! You rebel light may be worth a go though...
