It didn't come out so have tried to rub it with stain removal stuff. I really hope it doesn't take the red out! Blast!

Laska5772 · 16/05/2018 18:48

Is that the Bloomsbury never? BTW if its Stain devils DO Not leave it on too long! it can bleach also please dont rub either... (hope Im not too late !)

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 18:55

mmmmm...Probably too late!

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 18:55

Will inspect out of the wash. Its spinning.

ilovecherries · 16/05/2018 19:05

I'm not a huge make up wearer but because I initially lost my hair very young (just before my 20th birthday), I got into the habit of always doing brows (thankfully have my own) eyelashes (ditto) and lipstick. Without that I can look very faded and unwell, and that's a look you really want to avoid if you are rocking a bald head.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 19:14

Well its still there a bit. Doesn't look like its taken any of the red off thank goodness. I suppose I will have to live with it. I don't want to rub at it anymore incase I make it worse.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 19:15

Its a few dots on the sleeve.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 19:17

Cherries I suppose it can give definition to a pale face. I have never worn it so haven't got used to it.

Laska5772 · 16/05/2018 19:31

Have you got Vanish spray never? that shouldnt bleach give it another go? .. (or Astonish is good , their version of Vanish)

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 19:40

I haven't got vanish. Its hanging up. Should I get vanish and try it tomorrow? Or is it bad to let it dry?

Ellapaella · 16/05/2018 19:51

What kind of paint never? You can buy paint removal wipes from b & q. I know this because I meant against a freshly painted wall in my brand new coat in November when we were having our house decorated. The painter/decorator chap had some of these wipes and he gave me some, worked a treat!

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 19:55

It is just schools black poster paint but I had no choice but to let it dry as I was at work.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2018 19:57

Its a few spots on the sleeves but its annoying. I will just leave it and then try vanish or the wipes. It is water soluble but I think due to it drying into the fabric its stained it. It may fade with time. At least its on the sleeve only.

Laska5772 · 17/05/2018 05:30

Cherries which dresses did you keep in the end? I am still thinking about the Alanis mainly because ive spent so much this month .. The white stuff top I bought from JL is going back today. But i had reordered it fom WS themselves at 20% off .its not arrived yet but I prob wont keep that now either .
Dave hope the Portobello is good!
Never are you collecting the Ivy today?
Photos please ! Smile

ilovecherries · 17/05/2018 08:34

laska, all three are hanging on the back of my office door (at home) at the moment. DH says 'oh, keep them all, you never buy new things for yourself.' He is clearly living in the past, I've bought loads of new stuff in the last 6/7 months Grin. But he's right, in that I never used to. I'm def keeping the black and the blue woodblock. The orange I can reflect on for longer, and as it came from JL there isn't the same rush to return. I'm expecting a Kensington dress to arrive today. It's been on back order for 12 weeks, so I'd actually forgotten about it. I think I will wait and see if it's a keeper - if it is, will take the orange back. Living where I do, summer dresses ARE really for holidays abroad, they don't get much use at home, so while I like options, I really don't need stacks of them - much more sensible to spend on 3 season clothes.

Good news and bad news... dress fits much better ( i think.. pics below), bad news is it has several thread pulls and the hook at the back is hanging off.. I feared this may happen.

Have spoken to them and am sending pics over, so fingerscrossed I either can get a replacement or some ££ off.

It looks great on you, dave much better than the 10.. Hope you get some ££ off, I think that you are fairly unlikely to get another now but worth looking still

DavetheCat2001 · 17/05/2018 09:34

I'm so disappointed Laska Sad

I really wanted to wear it this Saturday as I am meeting a friend for drinks and dinner, and was so excited that it had arrived in time.

There was a nasty doubt in the back of my head though that it would have damage to it..maybe it was cherries saying how she had seen one with damage on sale in the store in London the other day.

it is a delicate dress I think, so prone to snagging and pulls, but this looks like someone has really given it some abuse!

skippy67 · 17/05/2018 09:41

Have just ordered the Tasha in medium. Thanks for the advice to check the website at 9am!

ilovecherries · 17/05/2018 09:48

It suits you, Dave, I think it's def the smaller one you need. Would you be happy to keep it if you get some money back?

Ellapaella · 17/05/2018 10:02

That's a much better fit on you Dave. It looks great.
I'm really quite shocked that they send out damaged returns and charge full price! It's very cheeky! I'd be inclined to shame them by putting photos on the Facebook page - at least you will get a speedy response and much more likely to get money off.

How annoying Dave. Hopfully they will take some money off.
