Oh and Mara I like the jump suit. Would not suit me in a month of Sundays but i really like the print for you. Yes it's unusual for now, but it's got that 70s hippy vibe going on and sort of looks like a maxi dress too, which you can pull off.

Where i am for half term, it gets very breezy in the evenings, so I have packed 3 different jumpsuits in my evening wear. Absolutely agree with you on strappy heels, I think that will make a lovely evening look. It's one of those looks that i reckon is casual evening chic.

I like the jumpsuit for you - especially the colour, although I don't recall you doing the bare shoulder thing too often? Could be wrong.
I am off out tonight to a cocktail / Turkish restaurant. Very warm here. Not sure what to wear.
Did I say the red Whistles blouse arrived and is an absolute keeper - great shape and nice and lightweight. Just have to take care when washing.

Yes Shop, definitely tts. I don’t mind bare shoulders although really not keen on the cold shoulder trend for me, like halternecks though.

Thanks for job congrats, am starting after half term so have time to get sorted. Dress code is fairly casual and I have plenty that will work so not getting anything new at the moment.

Lovely weather today here. Wearing maxi blush pink pleated skirt from Uniqlo, black T shirt & velvet espadrilles. Going to see Shrek the musical this afternoon

Ooh good call Shop, I might order those espadrilles too. The LKB ones didn't look good so I left them at home. Patchy weather today. When the sun is out, it's gorgeous and hot like yesterday but there is a huge dark cloud that's been around since this morning so the sun has been making guest appearances.

Our roses were just beginning to bloom too. Kids have already made friends and we have been abandoned!

Ootd is blue polka dot halter neck bikini and wrangler sun dress. I have gone into the recesses of my jewellery box and am wearing Accessorize stacking rings and charm bracelet (which must be 10 years old at least).

Dream that is so funny, DH saw that Storksak bag a few months ago and said "I like that" (back when I had thought we'd just get a bag each). It's very him but too manly for me! Maybe 2 bags is the way forward lol.

Managed a shopping trip today. Just to town centre where I live, with my 2 sisters and my niece, but it was so nice. Bought lots of baby clothes and got some summer linen bits in H&M. :)

I used a very boring changing bag at first Blair, hop & skip I think, then switched to Pliage. Wipeable is a must!

I'm searching for two things: black sandals to replace my beloved Sam Edelman Trina's. Ideally small block heel that I can wear to work.
And a summer holiday. Am in complete panic that we haven't booked yet but am so busy. If anyone has anywhere they recommend, hotel or 2- bed villa anywhere in Europe in August, please PM me!

Managed to pack BBB (big bastard basket ) and it’s actually been great as is just the right size for all the beach and pool stuff. Cloudy here and too cold for the pool at the moment.

Massive congrats on the job Mara bet you're chuffed to bits, sounds as if the competition was fierce. Admittedly I was unsure about the jumpsuit but the colour would look great on you and I think it's good to step out of your comfort zone and I feel summer is a good time to experiment with prints.

Lib such a proud momentous moment for Ireland. I still find it shocking that a referendum had to be had in this day and age.

Hope everyone on hols is having a great time. We're away too with surprisingly good weather. We've been abandoned too so I may actually get to finish my book. Clothes wise it's very casual here so am wearing Havaianas in a myriad of colours with Boden chino shorts.

Afternoon! Glorious day today so I have been hogging the sunbed. Today’s ootd is this Freya bikini. My dress is this Mango dress in red. Jewellery is the same Accessorize charm bracelet (lots of beads and trinkets hanging off it), my “Carrie” necklace and a Thomas Sabo watch (definitely not for the pool!).
