And would you be able to suggest me some alternatives? I need height and comfort for work. TIA!

"They look line dancing shoes to me..." Grin

I was mainly meaning the heel-bit of height, not too clunky.

I like that last one you've linked to, but I think the heel is too obvious.

Just draws attention to itself & your height.

MagnifyingGlassSearch · 09/04/2018 17:57

I can't find the last one I have linked to in my size anyway (5 or 6)Sad

Hotter. Shoes. Wasted no end of money until I discovered these. Really comfortable, all widths.

snewsname · 09/04/2018 18:35

The crocs are nice

Ymamiss · 09/04/2018 23:18

Love Fly London Boots and sandals. .but those are a bit too granny-chic and not in a good way x

heartyrebel · 10/04/2018 07:55

I love these threads as the object in question is more often than not totally ugly.
Those shoes did not disappoint Grin

MagnifyingGlassSearch · 10/04/2018 10:03

I still think I could pull them off to be honest... Grin

Just get them then. If you like them then that's all that matters.

Sorry.

Much better!

SleepingInYourFlowerbed · 10/04/2018 18:00

Better than your OP but I think they are a bit boring

diddl · 10/04/2018 18:17

Last link doesn't work for me!

ferrier · 10/04/2018 18:18

I had the same dilemma as you - what to wear in that long gap between winter and summer and have opted for V front shoe boots. Several examples on this thread -

MagnifyingGlassSearch · 10/04/2018 19:23

Ha! I replied on the other thread. As I was saying, ferrier those shoes are way too feminine and pretty for me. I need something slightly chunkier and also, I walk quite a lot at work and need to be fast and comfortable.

Those doc martens are seriously Goth

ferrier · 11/04/2018 01:09

Ah yes, I see now.
The red/scarlet ones definitely more of an evening shoe. The Carvela ones are really comfortable as long as you don't mind a smallish heel albeit much more sturdy than a stiletto. Probably not sturdy enough to be considered a walking shoe though!
Are you very keen on a wedge or would a chunky heel be OK?

MagnifyingGlassSearch · 11/04/2018 07:39

A chunky heel would be great! Smile
I need height and comfort.
I walk a lot.
I am short.
My feet are wide.

Not too high, but peep toe is a no no for me. I also prefer real leather shoes. I know that New Look have a wide shoe offering but I am not keen on synthetic shoes because they tend to look scruffy very quickly.

Sorry I am so difficult. Thank you for the links!!

No problem re New Look. Was just trying to get an idea for style on a site with thousands of shoes!
