www.amazon.co.uk/Fly-London-Women-Yaua699Fly-Closed-Toe/dp/B01LWWU1GL/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Yaua%2Bfly&th=1&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1523276539&sr=8-1

And would you be able to suggest me some alternatives? I need height and comfort for work. TIA!

The Toms and the Uggs are both a million zillion times better than the first ones!

Enidblyton1 · 09/04/2018 16:32

Of the ones you've posted I would try the Toms. The Uggs look uncomfortable and I think the first ones might look a bit frumpy.

TeeBee · 09/04/2018 16:33

Utterly utterly hideous.

HildaZelda · 09/04/2018 16:40

I think they're horrible, sorry. I think Fly are horrible in general though. They try to be edgy but they're just Granny.

BobLoblawLawBlog · 09/04/2018 16:42

The Uggs and the Toms are definitely a lot better than the Fly ones. I really don't like any Fly shoes though, they're always slightly off.

VladPutin · 09/04/2018 16:44

all fly shoes are gopping

Insanityinthesuburbs · 09/04/2018 16:44

Hideous

VladPutin · 09/04/2018 16:45

i dont like the heels on any of yours

ShatnersBassoon · 09/04/2018 16:46

The Fly ones are a bit 'nun on a night out'. The Uggs are better.

Oblomov18 · 09/04/2018 16:47

Oh my goodness, they are so incredibly ugly. Sorry.

VladPutin · 09/04/2018 16:47

its ten degress today - just wear winter shoes

BikeRunSki · 09/04/2018 16:48

I love Fly boots, but I hate their shoes. Those are really nasty!

MayFayner · 09/04/2018 16:50

The Fly ones are a bit 'nun on a night out'

Personally I thought they were a bit "nun with orthopaedic requirements" but then I am a bit of a nun expert having gone to convent school.

PasDeDeux · 09/04/2018 16:50

The Ugg ones are ok but I wouldnt stop searching yet!
The fly ones are hideous with a capital H, sorry.

mydietstartsmonday · 09/04/2018 16:52

Are you aiming for the middle age social worker look...... but I feel your pain, there is very little stylish. comfortable stuff out there.

LouiseCollins28 · 09/04/2018 16:53

The Ugg ones look the best of those IMO, are you committed to the wedgy shape? It depends what sort of work you do in what sort of environment perhaps?

Bluntness100 · 09/04/2018 16:53

The Tom ones are the best, folllowed by the ugg ones.

The fly ones and the Clark ones are truely deeply fugly.

WingsOnMyBoots · 09/04/2018 16:54

I HATE them - but I am quite old-fashioned and girly.

Bluntness100 · 09/04/2018 16:55

Also try asos, they do some decent boots with block heels.

megletthesecond · 09/04/2018 16:55

Horrible. Sorry. I don't get the Fly boot love at all.

SpecialAgentNobody · 09/04/2018 16:58

I actually said “Jesus” when I opened that first link. They’re horrible in the extreme.

chocolatesun · 09/04/2018 16:58

If you have to ask then they aren't for you (and yes they are really fugly!).

LemonysSnicket · 09/04/2018 17:01

Yes,they’re minging

2018AnotherYearAnotherUsername · 09/04/2018 17:05

I have them in black. Best work shoes ever! LOOOOVE Fly!

MagnifyingGlassSearch · 09/04/2018 17:06

Okay I think I am reading between the lines and the shoes I linked to initially are possibly not everyone's cup of tea? Grin

I need height and comfort in equal measures. My feet seem to be expanding sideways and feminine shoes look silly on me.
