Told myself I didn’t need anything but I love the Hush mid-sales as they bring out old stock and sometimes I find things I missed the first time round. Ended up ordering the ombré maxi skirt and the Adelaide navy silk blouse.

It was a good day to have my birthday, the day of the Hush sale!
I ordered the boxy knit jumper online, had my we on it for ages as a summer cover up but it was too pricey at £95 so pleased I managed to get it reduced.
I went in to John Lewis after work and bought some black Harem pants (very pleased with them, so so comfy and a great fit).
I also tried on the Santana skirt, the Marseille shorts (they were really nice) and the Monaco trousers which were weirdly short! Like half way up my leg and I'm only 5'7, a fairly average height I'd say!
I might go back for Marseille shorts if the hot weather returns.

I'm only 5' 3" tall and the Monaco trousers were the perfect length for me so makes sense they're too short for anyone above 5' 6"

Meant to add laska thanks for the Boden tops recommendations. They do look lovely and was tempted to try...but now I don't think I'll bothee having just gone overboard with the Hush mid season sale.
In fact the Boden items I ordered last week have just arrived so unless it's love which I doubt as I'm very fickle it'll all go straight back.

Well ordered loads but going to return most of it tbh.
I ordered the denim chambray dress with fringe at the bottom. The stripe jersey dress with the scoop back, mini star tee, hush harems, star tee in blush and red - have ordered before but really like the look of it with the grey harems despite its thinness. Also the white a blue strip linen V-neck. Liked it but returned but at the price its pretty good. The grey washed ivy dress.
Really cant afford to keep all of it so it will be choosing whats the best.

Rant alert...Hush insist the current model is 5' 7". YET, look at the Monaco trousers on her, and look at what Ella says about them being short on her. I am also 5' 7" and have two pairs...both of which hit me mid-calf. I wear them as cut-offs.

I queried her height with Hush CS ages ago when I found that a lot of the tops were hitting me at my waist yet appeared hip-length in the photos. They insisted she is in fact that height. Which is very strange if you ask me!!

Some of the tops are really long on the model. Yet I am 2 inches shorter than her and yet they are really short on me! How can that be possible?
I wonder whether the samples they get are slightly different for the shots they take. Its just not possible that they are the same size if her height is to be believed.

Never I asked them that too! I asked if perhaps samples were used for photos before they went into full production. No, they said. BS is what I think! :D

It's very annoying about the Monaco trousers because they are really lovely!

Could it be a proportion difference. My daughter and I are the same height but she is only a 26/28 inchleg in trousers while I am a 30/32. I have long legs (for my height) and a short body - she is the other way round.

Actually, the model does look like she is quite short legged. It could definitely be that. I sometimes think she looks a bit dumpy yet she is a size 8

Hello! I thought you'd all disappeared! I sent the Monaco trousers back too, they are very weird...the cropped trousers are wonderful though and look gorgeous. I also tried the harems but they did nothing at all for me. Will stick with my Amie's I think. I've been offloading stuff on e-bay and FB sites to justify recent purchases though . I have also found some fabulous Hush bargains on ebay. I too agree with things being short. I have got on with so few of their tops, particularly the sweats, with the love stack sweat being the only exception (how I wish I'd sized down with that, mine appears to have grown quite a bit). I often wonder about the proportions on the model and think samples must be made to fit her. She is two inches taller than me if her height is to be believed yet the tops are infinitely longer on her.

Well I just popped on to see if there were any whispers about when the sale was going to start........😁

Ooh went to Spain for a short hop last weekend, took my marina skirt (Black with white stripes] and the multi coloured pleated skirt, hush leather jacket, hush sandals from last year, Hultquist dragon fly necklace and the double star one from hush, massiomo dutti velvet pumps and lines tee with a silver trim. Packing sorted! No stress!

Keep meaning to link some fab jeans I got from M&S recently too, as ever better in real life as their photography is shite
here not as tight in real life, and I have biggish thighs. They’re slightly distressed on the thigh but it doesn’t show too well on the website.
