I agree about the tulle skirt. No idea what occasion you could wear that. Certainly would not fit into my lifestyle but it does look lovely. Maybe you could wear it to a wedding? I cant honestly think of anywhere else.

nearly as with the Carrie Bradshaw skirt and refund policy.
Hush are putting us off ordering and returning lots "just to see"...if you know the style suits you go for it as £49 is relatively frugal when it comes to all our Hush purchases.
Or risk it and wait till sale time.
I've been so sorely tempted to try the denim jacket, Stella reversible jumper, Iris dress but I don't "need" them and so will not click the "buy now" button in my basket till
A) Sale or discount time
Or
B) someone reports their refund turnaround is getting better

I'm not such a saint though and my ulterior motive/incentive is my break in Spain in just under 2 weeks.
I always buy lots of shoes and clothes and accessories at good prices when I visit. If I didn't have this coming up so soon I'd find it hard to resist...Smile

SoyYo · 17/04/2018 19:28

Yes never a wedding for the "princess" skirt. Thank God I haven't got any such event coming up as I just know I'd look ridiculous in pink starry tulle 🤣
but like a fool would still try it cause I love it so
It doesn't stop any of us from wondering about it now does it?
Whoever bought and kept it please come back to tell us more!

neveradullmoment99 · 17/04/2018 19:36

The reviews are suggesting to wear it with the star tee casually. Where exactly? On the school run? OMG the thought.

I do have a wedding but the skirt is just not me.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 17/04/2018 19:38

In fact, none of the hush offerings would be good to wear to a wedding unless I am missing something.

Nor me never but it's one of those things that appeals to our inner child. I'm more fastly ageing rock chick sad I'm not or slightly disheveled business person in work mode but there's still a little girl in me that adores tulle!

Thebirthdayparty · 17/04/2018 20:39

Even if you wore it to a wedding, what on earth could one wear with it? A little cami would look like you were trying (and probably failing) to upstage the bridesmaids), a blouse would look like you changed in work but forgot to bring a change of top. Yet the skirt is nearly sold out. I’m intrigued and can only imagine tulle skirts hanging unworn in wardrobes forever more......

ilovecherries · 17/04/2018 20:47

I had a brief fantasy about the tulle skirt, then decided I was probably about 55 years too late, and given I seesaw between businesswoman paddling like mad under the water, and harems and biker it probably doesn't have a place in my wardrobe. My last refund was much quicker -6 days from posting to receipt, but I haven't yet forgiven them for holding onto a small fortune for three weeks over Easter, so they will need to show consistent improvement before I forgive them :)

Ellapaella · 17/04/2018 20:51

The skirt is nice but there are hundreds of similar skirts in places like ASOS and Elsie's attic etc for half the price. Personally I think it would have to be 'occasion wear' worn with a close fitting silk cami and heels. But then maybe I don't have much imagination for such things!

SoyYo · 17/04/2018 21:36

Like birthday still intrigued Wink and agree other than a camisole I can't see it working with anything else...
cherries LOL! Entirely agree with you
Ella thanks for the Asos tip. TBH Hush rely on people like me who don't always have time to trawl through lots of websites to find reasonably priced alternatives...if the tulle urge remains (not) I could order a tulle skirt from Asos just for the hell of it! 🤣🤣🤣

neveradullmoment99 · 17/04/2018 21:54

...at half the price soy

Laska5772 · 18/04/2018 09:39

I tried a pale pink tulle skirt from Asos ( which is a brill site- do people even say 'brill' anymore?) .thought it might be good for a wedding.. it made me look like a elephant in a tutu!! .. Grin
Oh come on Hush its lovely out , I want to look at new stuff!
Not wearing any Hush today.. Seasalt Millpond blue stripey dress instead

Thebirthdayparty · 18/04/2018 09:55

Grin at elephant. That is exactly what I would look like too - my bum emphasised by layers and layers of material sobthe skirt would be shorter at the back then the front. Lovely image!!!

DavetheCat2001 · 18/04/2018 10:52

My rainbow jumper has arrived!!!!!!

So excited.

In hairdressers at the moment so haven't been able to try it on yet. Hoping its not too small.

Customer services told me they wont be getting anymore stock in now.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 18/04/2018 12:21

Yay Dave!

Am wearing chinos and the green linen top today - probably also denim jacket when I go out though. And star necklace. Total hush-head today!

DavetheCat2001 · 18/04/2018 13:22

Here it is!

Love it but it is a little tight under the arms.

Will it loosen up a bit d'you think?

Hush...we just can't get enough! S/S18 Mark 2 :)
ilovecherries · 18/04/2018 13:25

I'm still in the middle of ebaying 1000s (feels like that) of plus size clothes. Fuck knows why I have so many, as I never wore them. All bought out of desperation. On the plus side, my Paypal account is edging towards 1K again so I'm totally ready for summer. Wearing navy Amies and the s/s sloppy joe in yellow.

ilovecherries · 18/04/2018 13:47

Actually, I forgot to say I cracked in JL the other day and bought the lilac sloppy joe as well. I always swore it was a colour I'd never wear but then I said that about yellow until Xmas time, and as a result of these threads, now have three yellow items (Vickie jumper, s/s sloppy Joe and the Love sweat), all of which I love, so I decided to be brave and give it a try.

Laska5772 · 18/04/2018 13:51

Lovely think cotton viscose summer long scarf just bought in TKmaxx.. V. Hush dont you think?

Laska5772 · 18/04/2018 13:52

Laska5772 · 18/04/2018 13:53

Oh it wont let me upload photo! Ill try again later

DavetheCat2001 · 18/04/2018 13:57

I'm wearing the lilac sloppy joe today..love it so much that I have just ordered the yellow one too!

DavetheCat2001 · 18/04/2018 13:58

I'm thinking I can wear the rainbow jumper without anything underneath maybe to ease the tightness of it!

SoyYo · 18/04/2018 14:03

cherries so worthwhile ebaying clothes. I must do it and will look to you for inspiration when I actually get my head round it. I'm not a lilac person at all so kudos to you for stepping out of your comfort zone!

Dave rainbow jumper looks good and seems to fit you fine 👍I think laska can advise as she has it?

No Hush wear today, Zara skinnies and White company v neck t shirt. Both olive/khaki as I'm making an effort to wear my autumn colours even when homeworking...the garden looks so tempting in the sunshine but must get on with boring contract reviews this pm marginally less boring than budget reviews I pop in here for work relief and fashion chat so keep the pics coming!

To those of you lucky enough to be out and about Enjoy!
