Yes it's miserable cherries. We've just had a few days away and it's been so utterly cold and wet, so so sick of it now. On the plus side the forecast is looking better for northern England next week.
I just want to shed my winter wardrobe and feel some sunshine (or at least walk the dog without wearing waterproof trousers, wellies, hat, gloves and thermal socks!)

Ellapaella · 12/04/2018 17:30

Did any of you order the Kensington shirt dress? Really keen to see that in real life if anyone is happy to post some pictures. I am planning a trip to John Lewis in a couple of weeks time to try some stuff on and maybe they'll have some new stock in by then. I really like the look of that dress and the v neck Tara for summer, it's my birthday coming up so looking to treat myself.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/04/2018 17:32

Oh Cherries I know what you mean! I could take the grey and the rain, but it's just so cold!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/04/2018 17:33

Today I put a few things to the back of the wardrobe, just so it all looks a bit more summery, but I know I'll just be wearing the summery stuff with layers....

DavetheCat2001 · 12/04/2018 17:49

Can I just ask a non-Hush related question (hope that's ok??)

I'm thinking a cosy cardigan would be nice until the weather warms up a bit, and saw this one on the MV website, what do you guys think? Nice or drab? I'm thinking of the grey one to go with jeans etc

I have it on back order, Ella. I think it should arrive fairly soon, as I think at the end of Feb it was 8-9 weeks. Although have possibly ordered it too big.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/04/2018 17:57

I think that looks lovely but this cocoon cardigan is absolutely gorgeous in real life. I think its quite generous so the xs will probably fit you if you are an 8-10

The material is like the nana jumper but in ivory and in a cardigan form!

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 12/04/2018 18:02

Its also cheaper Dave

DavetheCat2001 · 12/04/2018 18:07

oooh thanks never...I hadn't seen that one.

So you've seen it? Is it nice and soft?

neveradullmoment99 · 12/04/2018 18:09

Its gorgeous. I was tempted. The only thing is if you are sensitive to wool it may itch you? I think it has baby alpaca in it. Its beautiful though.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 12/04/2018 18:10

It is beautifully soft and cosy. I saw it in pale grey. Not sure what colour that is or if it is the same. It looks the same.

OP posts:
DavetheCat2001 · 12/04/2018 18:13

I've ordered it! If it's too small I can just send it back.

I do get a bit itchy with wool sometimes but fingers crossed!

It's ivory, looks like it only came in one colour so must've been the one you saw! Good sale price too..thank you! xx

neveradullmoment99 · 12/04/2018 18:14

No problem. I hope it suits. I saw it at Christmas time in the sale in John lewis and it was bloody gorgeous.

OP posts:
DavetheCat2001 · 12/04/2018 18:17

I'll definitely update when it arrives!

It was £119 full price! Shock

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/04/2018 18:21

I've not yet bought anything MV but they do seem the Hushiest brand on the high street, and I might get tempted soon! That cardigan is really nice Dave

DavetheCat2001 · 12/04/2018 18:27

Have a look at their sale seek

They do have some really nice things in there for quite a bit off. I have quite a few MV pieces including 2 pairs of boots which I love.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/04/2018 18:46

Yeah, there was a lot in the sale rail at JL that I liked, and wouldn't bought if I could justify more new stuff.... but I've spent too much on Hush lately!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/04/2018 18:48

*would've bought

EnidButton · 12/04/2018 18:50

Yes, it is the spray that the parcels smell of.

Thanks Never definitely going to add some of that to my order! I really love that scent. 😍

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/04/2018 19:02

You won't be sorry Grin

ilovecherries · 12/04/2018 20:09

Those of you who have the wide jersey top - can I ask how you style it. In the winter I was wearing it (mine is black) with grey uniglo jeggings. But these are too big for me now and I'm reluctant to buy another pair right now as I don't like jeggings in the summer. Maybe I just need to buy more though, as it doesn't work with jeans or chinos. Hmm. Advice?

neveradullmoment99 · 12/04/2018 20:23

I wear mine with skinny jeans.

OP posts:
Laska5772 · 12/04/2018 20:31

Cherries like to wear mine with leggings( i am not sure if leggings are officially allowed on S&B!! ) and a black mini - mine is from H&M but I reckon the Hush ruched skirt would be good if you have one . and boots or trainers ..

I also wear my grey one with both my navy and my burgundy skinnies.

Ive just remembered that I have the burgundy ruched skirt (I have so much Hush!Blush ) .,I may try the grey wide top on with that tomorrow with burgundy opaques and my grey boots and see if its a good look. .

Ellapaella · 12/04/2018 20:33

Cherries it looks nice styled with the cropped jeans as per the Hush website, maybe once the weather not so utterly awful with some trainers?
