I can't see anything about this yet so sorry if it's already on here.

So you get a full sized freebie with every order over £30.

I got a candle the first time I ordered, and I couldn't help going back for another turn and I got a 100ml cologne.

Must not try again.

I tried once more appealing to JM on the phone and they have said they will sort of honour the prize and send me a 30ml perfume, Red Rose's as I bought a Red Rose's Candle.

@Whatthefoxgoingon It took some doing to get them to agree they were in the wrong! I think they're going to have to rethink how they handle it next year, if they dare do it again.

I'm still having a nightmare with them over the black marks all over my body wash! They've agreed it's not up to their usual standard but have said as the Pom noir body wash has sold out they can't exchange it. Which I don't understand as it's showing as available on their website! I'd be happy with another item instead!

My order was all messed up.
Bought: Pomegranate Noir 30ml. Received: Blackberry & Bay 30ml
Free: English Oak & Hazelnut 30ml.

Called JM to ask to rectify and was told the correct item would be sent out to me, told I can keep the incorrect item as a gesture of good will. Today I received a second bottle of English Oak and Hazelnut. Arggggg! No sign of my purchased Pomegranate Noir but I now have 3 x 30ml of other colognes.

At least I like EOH but the Blackberry and Bay is not for me.

I’ve been in to the JM shop today & the oak fragrances layer v well with Blackberry & Bay.....

I was quite taken by one of the new English Fields fragrances but am going to hang out til May when the blossom collection is out

Received my replacement free gift for the incorrect 100ml LBM body wash I received last week.

It was another 100ml LBM body washGrin

Rang up (emailed last time) and they were so nice I almost felt guilty. They can see that I won the 250ml bottle and can't understand why the smaller size has been sent twice.

Once again, I can keep the 100ml bottle and the 250ml will be posted out today, which is obviously great for me, but I do wonder how much this fiasco has cost them!

It must be costing them a fortune to fix the cock ups. I received my bought shower gel no problems but no free candle. Rang them and they said their records showed both had been delivered and signed for at the same time. Confirmed no, definitely only one box containing gel received so they kindly sent another candle assuming theirs was lost or nicked in the post.

Two candles arrived separately yesterday. I rang them (being honest) to let them know and they've said I can keep them both. Great for me I suppose!

Yay! I got an email today saying that they are going to send out the 250ml LBM hand and body wash in place of the 100ml one that I received so hopefully that should come soon!

I wonder how much it's costing them vs increased sales.

I wouldn't have bought the perfume yet, so that's an extra sale.

But then I will have had four deliveries instead of one, two free 100ml body washes as well as the 250ml one I won. I've also tied up customer services with two phone calls and an email.

But somehow I still feel loyal, because they're trying so hard to put it all right, and are being so decent about it!

I feel quite mad that as a returning customer over the last 10 years they didn’t email at all about this. They ask every time if I’m on their mailing list which I am. I asked a friend who also regularly shops at JM and she didn’t get an email either. I know they’re a business and want new custom but I don’t feel valued as a regular customer at all!
All I ever get is an invitation for a free hand massage Angry
I’m tempted to switch to Jo Loves purely out of spite! And yes, I know they don’t care about my flouncing Grin

I think they are being really good about it and I think it must be costing them a fortune. I will have had 3 separate deliveries and 3 free items (2 x 250ml and 1 x 100ml). Having said that I have spent £65 that I wouldn't have spent otherwise.

That's true cake ninja. I was just lucky I stumbled across it on here. It is annoying and for people who regularly put orders in. You feel like they should reward loyalty rather than opportunists like me.

I'm a loyal customer and on the mailing list too, but I only heard about it on mn. I didn't need a new perfume yet, but bought one a few months early to benefit from the offer. I'd have been frustrated to have missed it, I wonder why they didn't promote it to existing customers? It feels like a bit of a shambles!

I'm jealous of everyone getting sent loads of incorrect freebies when all they are sending me out is a 30ml colonge.
I'll stop whinging now and be grateful one is actually coming.
I do think it's been really badly handled though.

Starry, I don’t think it needed to be an either or, and as I said, they are a business and the point is to make as much money as possible.
I don’t begrudge them touting for custom. I really like the products and has tried and tested many, at full RRP every time as they don’t do sales. What I begrudge, is being on their mailing list seemingly for them to post me a catalogue every 6 months and an email to open evenings with a complimentary hand massage (I’ve never taken them up on the offer, it’s the products I’m after, not people stroking my arms) and for this offer to completely to have skipped me by mail, by email OR post.
The only possible reason for it is that so called loyal customers will always come back so they don’t need to bother target them - they will end up losing business that was because we’ll be buying less as we will be making use of the freebies. So we have just been ignored entirely.
Sticks in the throat a bit.
