The Jo Malone Freebie game is back [UPDATE: But it's over now...]

I can't see anything about this yet so sorry if it's already on here.

So you get a full sized freebie with every order over £30.

I got a candle the first time I ordered, and I couldn't help going back for another turn and I got a 100ml cologne.

Must not try again.

Still no candle. Rang Royal Mail earlier who said they have it down as being delivered Confused I said it definitely hasn’t.

Just rang Jo Malone (how nice are their customer services workers?!) they said they can see from their end that I haven’t received and I should get it in next couple of days but if not don’t worry, they will rectify this for me whatever the outcome.

I’ve got a lovely marshmallow one burning at the moment but I want my Pom Noir one!

A while ago I received 30ml bottles of English Oak and redcurrant and English Oak and Hazelnut for being a valued customer of jo Malone
I do buy a lot from them and have to say that I also did not get any emails advising of the freebie game
I saw it on Mumsnet and did order and receive 2 lots but would really have expected to be included in email promotion

Nana I’m glad you see my point! I too spend a lot with them throughout the year and never receive anything for being a value customer apart from the afore mentioned ‘free hand and arm massage’ Hmm
I’m glad that you got something from the promotion though, I’m not that bitter Grin
But yes, no emails advertising it as they get enough money our of us already!!

Royal Mail have tried to deliver my candle again today- to my home address when I’d already confirmed with them yesterday that I needed it to redelivered to work so of course it has gone back to the depot.
I swear I’m never going to experience the joys of a Jo Malone candle in this lifetime!

I am so confused right now... I made 4 different orders in total. I emailed about getting the 100ml LBM instead of 250 and they said they’d send me the right one.
The next day I got an extra (free) candle, and now they’ve refunded me £45! I think this promotion has been a bit of a mess both PR wise and for them...

I also received my 250ml LBM by Yodel delivery today, although it wasn't packaged in a box as it usually would be. Everything has now arrived. I'm pleased.

Finally, I’ve finally got my Pom Noir candle. By chance saw the postman and he said it had been to delivered to the wrong house so I had to go and knock on a stranger’s door and ask for it. Just got home, exhausted from walking a mile in the snow.

On the up side, it smells divine.

I got a 100ml LBM body wash and emailed. The full sized one arrived yesterday but not in a box. Hmm Seems churlish to complain when it was free but was a bit disappointed

I love the smell of the Oak and Redcurrant but it doesn't last long.
Maybe I need to drench myself in it!

Bottom mine have arrived all over packaged & in 6 separate parcels! with boxes etc. if you're anywhere near SE London you're welcome to have mine!

On another note, one of my original (paid for) orders has failed to arrive but when I called yesterday the office was closed due to snow. Figured they might be running low on the LBM hand wash due to the cock up so was being patient with delivery but now think it's gone missing.

I just received my LBM body/hand wash. Not in box so will need to try and shuffle them round to use as presents. No black dot on this one though which is good!

My replacement 250ml wasn’t in a box either. Suppose they’ve got to try and recoup some of the money they’ve lost through this debacle.
