I can't see anything about this yet so sorry if it's already on here.

So you get a full sized freebie with every order over £30.

I got a candle the first time I ordered, and I couldn't help going back for another turn and I got a 100ml cologne.

Must not try again.

Agree that it must have cost them a fortune to shop out small freebies and then large replacements.

Just checked my emails and they have pretty much said tough, you're not getting it as it's now out of stock.
I'm furious!
I'm wondering if I can open a dispute with PayPal ( for not fulfilling the terms?) as I'd have never ordered a candle at £45 on its own! I have better things to spend my money on.Angry

Veronicat - your screenshot is not the same as screen I got when I ordered. It had a pic of the item I won on. Both times. Maybe you would be best sending the candle back?

My husband 'won' 100ml on his phone. When these went out of stock it still said congrats you've won but there was no prize image.

I tried checking out with a candle and it just vanished mid way through check out with no notoficayion. That had also gone out of stock.

I imagine that's where your prize went.

JM are being harsh here as you obviously played the game and then placed an order expecting your prize.

Freebie delivered yesterday, gutted to find 100ml lbm instead of 250ml, phoned and spoke to lovely woman who asked me to email my confirmation to her. It didn't say the ml on order but did show pump top.
Rest of order appeared today and an email reply to say they will send out the full size handwash.

Sorry to hear that veronicat. I understand why you are annoyed. It has been a bit of a farce this time round but seemed to go really smoothly last year.
The thread became a bit of a swapsy thread with people exchanging fragrances/candles and some even took the free gifts back to a shop and obtained 'refunds'.
I'll still look forward to the next one

Have any of you tried Superdrug's version ofJM Lime, Mandarin and Basil? Apparently it's £10 and is good.

Oh it's £5 and not good according to their reviews. Had read they did the perfume too and that was good but can't find it on their website. As you were!

Veronicat - i agree with HotCross I think JM are being harsh, you have confirmation of a prize and they should honour that.

I feel very lucky that my one order has all gone smoothly - I usually have lots of problems with offers and they all turn out to be too much hassle.

I can't see JM repeating this offer again, they seem totally unprepared so I'm not sure I will be experiencing anymore of their lovely candles as I understand they don't do any other offers. So I'm just wondering has anyone ordered the Aldi candles that are supposed to be very similar to the JM ones and are they any good?

No robe Aldi candles are very poor, no throw whatsoever and exactly what you’d expect from a £4 candle.

Another one here who was sent the small hand wash when I definitely won the full size one with the pump. Have emailed them and am waiting to see what they say. I'm not very impressed as it does feel a bit like they are trying it on a bit to be honest.

With regards to the Aldi candles, I bought the huge lime basil and mandarin one and was really unimpressed when I lit it. However, I placed it on a bookcase underneath a lamp as it still looked pretty, and have been really shocked to find that the (not that hot at all) heat of the small lamp seems to warm up the candle slightly and scent the whole room far better than any of my actual Jo malone candles have! I shall certainly be buying more of the aldi ones.

I now also own the most expensive soap I’ve ever heard of. It better be lovely.
