I can't see anything about this yet so sorry if it's already on here.

So you get a full sized freebie with every order over £30.

I got a candle the first time I ordered, and I couldn't help going back for another turn and I got a 100ml cologne.

Must not try again.

From recollection, nobody seemed to have any issues the last time they did this promotion. I wonder why it's total chaos this time round!? Or have there been even more orders than last time?

Guys just ring customer services as I said yesterday they will replace with full sizes without question.

Apparently mine is out for delivery today. Feeling nervous that I get my full sized order! For those that got the smaller sizes, did it say that size on the invoice or did it state full size? I don't want to be called a liar if I get a small sample and it says 100ml on the delivery invoice. Confused

I now have my first order plus my freebie from the second order - full size English Pear body wash.

I've just lit the candle - English oak and redcurrant. Smells lovely.

Must say that customer service has been really good so far. I was asked to send a picture of my incorrect item. DH called them as I've lost my voice and the rep sent me an email to use to reply. She said she will communicate with me via email until this is sorted. I'm not sure what solution they will offer but really would like the original offered freebie.

It was clearly a picture of the full size product in the confirmation they never asked for any proof

The error with my order wasn't between the size of the item offered/ordered and the size of the item received. The error for me was that the wrong cologne was delivered. I was expecting English oak and hazelnut and received Blackberry and bay.

I think that's why they needed a photo. I think they are already aware that they have sent out the wrong size body wash and hand wash, so no proof is necessary.

I called in the end. For me they said my order had no record of the prize I had won even though my email said the prize would be sent along with my order.

They asked me what it was and said they would do their best to send that item but asked if I would be happy with a different cologne or a candle if there wasn't one available....have said yes for now and will just see what I get.

I received my freebie today - a teeny LBM hand and body wash. I called them to ask if it's correct and they're sending me a full size due to the mistake in the image. Definitely worth calling and thanks to the power of Mumsnet!

Thiscant I don't think they normally discount, that's why this offer was too good to pass up! I have even questioned the sales assistants in Harrods as to why they don't participate in the 10% weekends that Harrods runs from time to time and was told that they see themselves as a premium brand like Chanel & Hermes Hmm. Didn't wash particularly well with me since both Chanel make up/skincare/perfumes & Hermes perfumes participate in the 10% days so don't see what's so special about some soap & wax!

bettytaghetti thank you. That was what I was wondering if they take part in store events. I would love to buy more JM candles etc but I think I would need a bit of a discount to be able to justify it. I agree, around here Chanel make-up/perfume take part in store discount events so I am surprised that JM don't. I am sure they would get increased sales.

They do participate in Selfridges 20% off before Christmas, at least online. The website only had a limited range though.

I'll keep an eye out for that HotCross. I just rang my local department store where they have a JM boutique and she said they don't take part in any promotions. She did mention the "grabber" giveaway and she said that is all they do although if they have a VIP evening in store to launch a new fragrance you will go away with a "surprise & delight" gift which I am assuming is a sample.
