Here's a list of what was in the 2016 calendar. Excuse the fact that it comes from the Sun.

www.thesun.co.uk/living/2149435/marks-spencer-launches-beauty-advent-calendar-2016-which-costs-250-but-you-can-get-it-for-35-with-just-one-catch/

I think the product range was better last year.

SunnyUpNorth · 24/12/2017 11:19

I've got these (hope photo works!).

Everything is unopened except the rodial which I tried once.

The bottom left is a primer from another Christmas box I had.

I would like:
The Diego dalla Palma mascara
The liquid gold
The korres sleep mask
The M&S sleep mask
The blood orange perfume

I too have loved the calendar and will definitely buy it next year. I agree they could have ordered them a bit better and also had a better balance of items but overall I have loved it.

Til next year! Happy Christmas all.

HeyRoly · 24/12/2017 12:48

Used the night cream last night and my skin felt amazing this morning. Really impressed with the M&S own brand products.

AlannaOfTrebond · 24/12/2017 13:37

Hi Sunny, I'll swap the perfume for the Ren if nobody else has offered yet?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 24/12/2017 14:25

I've really liked this year's calendar.
I didn't get it last year as there were quite a few products I wouldn't have used.
I will definitely buy it again next year & here's hoping that M&S include an eye cream next year.

snowflakestar · 24/12/2017 14:50

I've really liked it too. I've loved all the skincare, could have done with a nice pink lipstick instead of one of the mascaras though and the sponge was a disappointment. I never use eye cream - I use my facial moisturiser in the eye area - so the lack of one is fine by me.

fredabear · 24/12/2017 15:43

Quite like the glitter on top of the gold polish

Hi AlannaOfTrebond , sorry got swept away in Christmas activities!

Yes perfume for ren would be great. I will PM you my address. Thanks.

MelanieCheeks · 24/12/2017 19:07

Took my calendar stocked with my don't wants and some other fun items to my daughter sister and mum. The only items that nobody wanted were the 2 nail polishes, and they even struggled to find someone they could pass them to.

miffy2 · 24/12/2017 21:13

PSA: Rodial Dragon's Blood kit is on the SpaceNK site at half price right now. 50ml sculpting gel serum, 50ml face mask and 15ml eye gel all for £55. I just ordered one for myself :)

woodhill · 24/12/2017 22:36

Would have liked another nail file as lost last years

Not keen on the primers

TheNoseyProject · 24/12/2017 22:51

These are my swaps if anyone wants them. Note of caution, I haven’t opened the ten but it feels light, it says it’s only 10ml so I assume that’s right!

If anyone doesn’t want Gatineau, rose oil or ameliorate then let me know!

*ren

ihatethecold · 25/12/2017 07:17

Loved nearly everything this year. Some really great products to try.
BUT today is so disappointing. Really underwhelming.

Happy Christmas everyone 🎅🏼🤶🏼

Xmasbaby11 · 25/12/2017 07:43

Today was poor - looks cheaply made and I'll probably give it to toddler dd.

Overall a great calendar though and I'll enjoy the products.

CiderwithBuda · 25/12/2017 07:57

I really Iike today's. Doesn't seem cheaply made to me. I love little make up bags. Handy for travelling.

Kochicoo · 25/12/2017 08:56

I love today's and it'll be perfect to use when staying away today.

I've loved the whole calendar experience. Even if I haven't loved every day, I've liked the majority of them. I'm definitely getting it next year.

Now to decide which miracle product is going to make me look like I've had a good night's sleep.

Merry Christmas everyone!

woodhill · 25/12/2017 10:13

Make up bag is nice but would have liked a hand cream rather than 2 primers. Definitely smaller products at times

OOAOML · 25/12/2017 11:33

I'm glad there wasn't much make up as I rarely wear it - I kept the mascaras but gave the other stuff to teen DD. Will use most of the skincare, but not trying it all at once as have sensitive skin so need to know if something triggers it. Might sort a few out for swaps.

Not sure if will keep the bag - probably handy for travel toiletries.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 25/12/2017 12:07

Here are my swaps - hope the pic works. If not its Rosie cream (opened but unused), perfume (opened, only sprayed once!) hair spray, both lip products, ren, both primers, glitter nail polish (all unopened). Am interested in Gatineau, Emma hardie and balance me oil. Would also consider swapping the face footner.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 25/12/2017 12:09

Overall I've enjoyed the calendar but would have liked more make up and in colours I would use. Will probably try a different one next year.

snowflakestar · 25/12/2017 12:21

Today's is much nicer than I was expecting (I'd seen there was a makeup bag). Prefer it to the material on my more expensive make-up bags!

YesThisIsMe · 25/12/2017 12:25

I think it’s a very nice bag but most women in the target market will already have a nice makeup bag, or two, or three, so something consumable like a handcream or eyecream or maybe something that often needs replacing like face muslins would always go down better.

PodgeBod · 25/12/2017 13:23

I agree Yes the makeup bag is nice but I already have several that I picked myself and love.
