Hush new collection - we're loving it so much we need a new thread!

Hello everyone!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

I wore the Marina skirt today with a black cashmere crew neck, black tights and black Fly London ankle boots. Chunky silver pendant. I may have looked shite but I thought I looked ace (preens). :)

Ilovecherries - I have the wide jersey top in both black and grey, as you say the black seems as if it is a totally different fabric. The black is much nicer than the grey imo ( and I never normally wear black) much more expensive looking. Both wash ok although the reverse side of the grey is easy to snag.

I had an email about their new party wear range but I'm not sure about some of the outfits. Could anyone carry off this jumpsuit?

Queen If its anything like the easy tunic it is really really sparkly and much too OTT for me. That coupled by the shape would mean that it would be a statement piece. I would never wear it.

It could look beautiful if you have the right occasion. It actually looks a bit like a long dress when you see the black one in model shots.

The material of the easy tunic [ in the same fabric] is really scratchy and has a slight odour to it.

I don't know never, maybe I'm getting old but I prefer not to have to undress completely if I need the loo

My black jersey top arrived today. Love it. It was creased though...shock.

After telling myself 'no more clothes this winter' I ordered the Stella jumper with the blush coloured star. Then the black sweatshirt with gold stripe on sleeve arrived, (I had it on back order and had sort of forgotten) arrived. They're both lovely! Bit worried about washing the jumper, as bamboo isn't that robust IME, so I'll just wash it in Unicorn tears or something. Both sweaters are so soft and feel lovely against the skin.

On another note, I ordered a top from Joules just to see what the hype was about, but it was all scratchy and looked a tad frumpy, so that went back. Also loving a tencel shirt dress I just got from Cos, which impressed me with the quality. Would definitely buy from them again.

I'm still waiting for my metallic sweatshirt to arrive - ordered it ages ago so you've reminded me that's still yo look forward to. I love Cos as well. Always intimidated by the staff in store though!

I'm not surprised, Cherries, if they look as grumpy as the models! Maybe give customer services at Hush a nudge about your sweatshirt, I received mine last weekend. Maybe even the weekend before?

Are you keeping both jumpers Rubbish? I did order the Stella jumper in Navy/grey in September but returned it as I didn’t think the colours suited me... I am tempted to try the grey/blush though...it’s on the list after the Ivy dress!

Still waiting for my marina skirt too! I also told myself I wouldn’t be ordering anything else this season

I am sooo keeping both Delaney. I think the stella makes a nice non lairy Christmas jumper. The charcoal and blush are a gorgeous combination.

Unreasonably pleased with self :). In Newcastle for a meeting, pass a charity shop and out of the corner of my eye spy what looks like an atlas shirt on a rail. YES! It's this season (the black with the green pattern) so no idea how it found its way into a charity shop so quickly. No label so I guess someone wore it once (reeks of perfume) and didn't like it. Size 14 so it's perfect for me. It's been washed and is now hanging in the shower. They wanted 4.95, but gave them a tenner because I knew it was really underpriced and I'd get my money back on eBay if nec. It will be perfect with both the marina skirt and the Erin trousers. I do love a bargain :)

Is anybody wondering what their "Christmas Shopping Weekend" will entail? And most importantly, will there be discounts?! Did they offer discounts last year?

Tried it on, and it's really flattering. Sleeves are a bit long so I think I will tighten the buttons on the cuffs so the sleeves pouf up a bit and don't slide over my hands. Looks lovely with the marina skirt.

Freesia dress in navy/gold has just arrived and I need to either eat less chocolate or speak to my tailor. It is true to size, unlike me at the moment due to work stress ha.
Very 70s, true midi on 1.65m me, not widening, hides belly, hello boobies, but getting the zip up past the horizontal seam sticks a bit. Nice fabric too and looks like won't need ironing. WINNER.

So Hushistas... will we get a discount code for tomorrow do you think? I'd really like some new harems!

I was trying to think back to last black friday. I don't think they did it? Or maybe they had 10% off certain products like scarves. Not great if you are not in the market

I have to give a thumbs up to Hush CS - I emailed a photo of my Love jumper as the embroidery is coming loose all over and they offered me a refund within a day. Am really pleased as for the price it was just not on. I love the jumper but was too scared to wear it in case it got worse.
