Hush new collection - we're loving it so much we need a new thread!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

You and me both then. I love them but I have fairly wide feet and a couple of hereditary bunions :(

.. and because of postage i didn't try /buy as much sale stuff as I might have done.. so got them back.. anyway JL still do free deliveries over £50 and free returns .. so if its on there you can always make up the delivery to that and send the stuff back you dont want

I'm surprised I've still got the Friends free postage as I didn't buy much from the last season. However at a quick glance, I am loving the new stuff that has landed today. Am taking advantage of the 10% code to buy the black diamond sweatshirt (have needed a new black one for ages) and the Dorset cut out tee in black. I bought the cream/white linen star cut tee last year and loved it, so hope this is as nice.

Sweatshirt appears to be back in stock in my size but not sure whether to get S or XS. Is it fairly loose-fitting, does anyone know? Also, are they doing free returns? I might order both sizes and return one in that case, although if it isn't free then it negates the 10% discount!

Jacqui cardi coat is under my desk.. I could put that on i suppose ...

It is annoying. Well at work today and had my grey nana jumper on. Super cosy! It was very cold here I have to say so had to wear layers under it [hush long vest, hush tee on top and then the jumper] Grey hush skinny jeans, dm boots. Hush scarf and Oasis parka.

Never, we were sartorial twins today. White cotton collared shirt (Sosander, I think), with the grey Nana, grey skinny jeans (mine were just Next) and ugg leather bikers. Hush scarf. Oasis parka. It's bloody freezing here.

I very naughtily re-ordered the sweatshirt with the code! They are on their way and should be here tomorrow thanks to Hush friends . really hoping the Vickie isn't too huge.. I wont mind it being a bit loose.. .

Laska I would have no qualms about ordering it twice if you get the better discount. I did it with a pair of boots.

Gertie the Jacqui coat is great ,but it is really more of a cardi IMO. its heavyweight and really soft but sleeves are not quite wrist length .,which i do find annoying. Also I do wish it had pockets.. If you order dont forget to use the 10% code!

I do tend to wear it more indoor than out, in fact i have just slipped it on as a kind of dressing gown as am a bit chilly ( heating has only jut come on ) Never did you keep yours?

Yes and was going to wear it today to work but it was way too cold. Hoping to get more wear out of it when the weather gets a bit warmer.

I agree about the sleeves. So strange that they are short. I also agree, its very annoying not having pockets. I constantly go to put my hands in them.

I have thought about seeing if it is possible to undo the side seam and inserting some pockets , maybe of jersey fabric.. also maybe if one was clever perhaps its possible to knit some cuffs ( in camel maybe? ) and stitch them on . or would that look stupid.. ?

I don’t mind the shorter sleeves as I live in my hush wristwarmers and have some long Oliver Bonas gloves.

I'm not personally good at altering things. I can live with the sleeves because I just wear a long sleeved jumper under it. You could also purchase wrist warmers - I bought a pair of black ones ages ago on special from hush. They would do the job. As for the pockets, I think that's the most annoying thing. I think you could go to an alteration place and have pockets added but it probably would cost ££

The winter stock that wasn't reduced e.g., camel Jada and Grey nana seem to have disappeared from the website now. Am I just missing them? JL has them, but no discount. (Yes, now being tempted by camel jada, it's so cold!

Ok so my order came. I ordered a few things 'just to see'
Anyway haven't had a chance to try much on. The yellow love sweatshirt is a 'dirtyish' yellow. Not what in envisaged really. However did try that on and it kind of suits me as it is pale and actually looks like I have a tan with it on [ the bonus of sallow skin] I think it would look lovely in the summer with denim shorts. Its lovely and baggy and comfy. It may be a keeper. Not overly fussed with logos though. I ordered the diagonal stripe boxy tee - sort of pinkish colour with a stripe running diagonally. Not sure of the fit. Its a bit of a strange one. Will need to try again tomorrow. The rainbow jumper - very thin and not impressive for the price.. Not tried on but its not that great. Ordered the lemon tee with the asphalt stars. Looks nice - not tried on yet. Same colour as the sweat. Ordered the Ivy dress in washed black. Wasn't sure of the print one. Looks nice but much shorter than the winter one imo. I did however order the xs. Not tried on yet. Will post in the morning as to whats a keeper. No intention of keeping much of this order tbh but was just curious so added extra things to see !

The camel jada is beautiful. It has disappeared from the website cherries. So has the grey nana. How odd!!!

Drew dress now back in stock but ordered from JL just incase as at least free returns. Hope I like it!

I have ordered the yellow love sweat and star tee on delayed payment via paypal...I don't anticipate keeping either as I really can't afford it but wanted to have a look at them and try them on. Will see...!

hooray ! Vickie in custard has arrived and is a keeper.. the S might have been better but they dont have any left so its a M 'sloppy joe' on me .. I love the colour!

Cest si bon looks dreadful on me and strangely I would have needed a larger one of these .. so its ( both) going back . so if anyone still wants a small. They will have that back in stock soon..
