Hello everyone!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

Glad they worked out for you. I think they look pretty good with ankle boots and I am sure your legs are much slimmer now you are a 12 so will look great. I try not to wear them too much as it is easy to lose track of weight if you are constantly in them.. Sometimes I like to pop them on when I come home from work with my night shirt. They have there uses.

How is the grey nana? Is it a nice grey? Might consider it!

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2018 16:27

In the spring when you don't want to wear ankle boots, trainers or chunky sandals will also look good - hasbeens or some type of clog.

TruthIsNotHate · 10/02/2018 16:33

Thanks never, I'll have a look at the All Saints Bales again online tonight. I think I've tried it on in JL, but I was a bit freaked out by the security tag 😄.

ilovecherries · 10/02/2018 17:38

I love the grey nana, it's a very pale silvery colour. Just as soft and gorgeous as the green. I really have my daughter to thank - don't usually do gifts in this friendship group but they had a whip round since it was a big birthday, then FB messaged my DD to ask her if she had any ideas at that budget, rather than a gift card. She told them I was lusting after that jumper, and I'd view it as an 'investment piece' lol. I just love it, such a surprise. It's def a very cool colour though.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2018 18:17

I really love the grey and think it would suit me. Think the green would have too but its out of stock in both the small and xs and only available in a medium. If the dress was anything to go by, it was very generous. I am a 12. Thinking the medium would be too big? Or would it look ok oversized? It is much cheaper in the green. I may wait and see if they reduce the grey one on Monday ahead of their new collection.

ilovecherries · 10/02/2018 18:21

I'm still pretty much a 14 on the top, and I have a xs in the green and a small in the grey. To be honest, the sizes seem identical, though I have a JL gift receipt for the grey if I want to go smaller.

miffy2 · 10/02/2018 19:48

I'm also 12-14 on top and I bought the small and medium (nana) to try both. There seems to be a big difference in size between them. I am keeping the small as it is nice and neat; putting the medium on I almost felt swamped.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2018 19:57

Thanks cherries and miffy. Think I will pass on the green nana then and probably order the grey one on Monday [just incase they reduce it!]

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2018 19:58

I would be gutted to buy it and then they slash the price [although I suppose I could order and return the one I have purchased]

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2018 19:59

I think maybe I will order the xs and the small.

paddingtonbear1 · 10/02/2018 22:10

I really like the nana jumper but I'm a size 8, sometimes a 6 on top, so is even an xs going to drown me? I'm 5'7 and kind of athletic shape with small boobs. I find a lot of their stuff very big fitting but is the nana especially so?

Ellapaella · 11/02/2018 08:56

Paddington I have the jeans - posted a picture a bit further up the thread. I love them.

Ellapaella · 11/02/2018 08:57

On the 27/1

paddingtonbear1 · 11/02/2018 11:12

Thanks Ellapaella I hadn't scrolled back that far. They look fab! Like the jumper as well!

ilovecherries · 11/02/2018 18:01

I would think it would be very slouchy on you, vet. But it's not terribly long, so you may like the extra length it gives you. I'd probably be a 12, but I have 34K boobs Blush and the xs fits closely but not skin tight on me. However, I'm not sure how consistent their sizing is, because my grey one is a small, and laid on top of each other, they are an identical size.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/02/2018 18:10

cherries I had my washed grey puffed sleeve tunic with my thick leggings and ankle boots today. I also had my long black cashmere cardigan over it as it was freezing and my hush Pia scarf. Felt neat and put together.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/02/2018 18:11

Oh and it started snowing here this afternoon and we are set for more! Thank god I am off tomorrow!!!! Grin

GertieMotherwell · 11/02/2018 20:58

I haven’t read the thread Blush
Has anyone tried the leather biker in grey? I’ve in love with it but wondering what it’s like irl

ilovecherries · 11/02/2018 21:07

It's snowing here as well, Never, in the Lakes. We had been back in Scotland for the weekend and the journey back was miserable. I have a black cashmere boyfriend cardigan from Pure. Would that work do you think? Or does it need to be properly long. Still lacking confidence in dressing myself!

ilovecherries · 11/02/2018 21:16

I'm always embarrassed by the things I think are nice and then mumsnet stamps them as frumpsville!

neveradullmoment99 · 11/02/2018 21:19

A black cashmere cardigan in black sounds good. Mine is a boyfriend one too but I got it from M&S in the sales. It probably is as long as the dress which I think is perfect. You shouldn't lack any confidence Cherries. You look fabulous in your picture on the other thread :)

neveradullmoment99 · 11/02/2018 21:21

Lots of people have different ideas on what is frumpy and what is not. Anything can look good its just a question of what you wear it with. That's why hush is so good. It gives ideas of whats good together. I don't really think anything from Hush is frumpy and since most your clothes are from there I doubt you look frumpy anyway!
