Hello everyone!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

why do hush sell chocolate? Its a bit weird don't you think. I mean its nice but hardly falls in with their products. I have had the rose one as a free gift but I would never think of buying it. Strange.

neveradullmoment99 · 19/01/2018 18:44

Nowhere near London. Sadly.

Whitney168 · 21/01/2018 14:07

Taps fingers waiting for discount code that must surely come for new season stock ...

JuneFromBethesda · 21/01/2018 14:34

I'd never normally make the effort to go to a sample sale, I'm too lazy to battle the hordes, but my office is literally next door to the Battersea Arts Centre ... I might have to stick my head in ...

Laska5772 · 21/01/2018 16:40

Lucky you june wish I could go also .. .Am also waiting for discount code..
But wearing my new Ivy Nana jumper today though .. V.soft and snuggly.. Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 22/01/2018 09:09

Well my puffed sleeved dress/tunic came and I have to say, although not initially sold on the puff sleeves, they have kind of grown on me. I absolutely love the material, the shape and the wash. It has pockets too. I tried it round the house and although would be happier if the puff sleeves weren't there, its not a deal breaker. I reckon I will get lots of wear out of it. Its a keeper. Oh and for anyone interested, I ordered the small and the model is wearing a small [that looks clearly too big] I am a 12 and the small was perfect and isn't as oversized as the model but I don't like it with all that material so its just right for me.

Laska5772 · 22/01/2018 11:42

Hmm interesting never i did like the colour .. did they by anychance give you a 10% code?...

neveradullmoment99 · 22/01/2018 12:50

If only laska :( I did consider returning it but couldn't bring myself too. Tbh, it wouldn't really have been that much off trying to justify it
However, not purchasing anything else full price until a code appears! And also not happy that the premium delivery is still not available! Even if they don't give it free as a hush friend , I would still pay the £6.00 but not the £12.00 for the exact same service!

GinandGingerBeer · 22/01/2018 13:29

Has anyone got the longer length Parker from this season? I decided to order it in the sale on a bit of a whim last night as they had it in a size 10, but looking at reviews, some say it’s comes up big, some say size up ( on the black one, I ordered it in green with the burgundy fur trim)

It came this morning but bloody Royal Mail Just shoved a card through without ringing the bell as my blinds were still shut.

Laska5772 · 22/01/2018 22:21

I just bough a scarf from Mint Velvet in their sale, then looked at their new arrivals.. They are getting very like Hush these days.. ! Lightening bolts, stars ......

neveradullmoment99 · 23/01/2018 09:12

Does anyone have the Helen jumper? Had ordered it and its nice but OMG the reviews are shocking so worrying about the bobbling. Any advice?????

Quite a few similarities I agree Laska but I do hate all the assymetric and wonky hemlines on some things. I do like mint velvet shades and tones though but I really should try more colours than this but am always sucked in!!! Saying that, have not got that much from mint velvet. I do like their ankle boots but have enough for now!

neveradullmoment99 · 23/01/2018 09:19

Miffy was reading back and noticed you bought it. How did you get on with it? Did it bobble?

Laska5772 · 23/01/2018 09:52

Am seriously considering the puff sweatshirt now Never.. I am such a sheep ..Smile
Whats thesising like on the S compared to the Ivy dress and the sparkly tunic?

Laska5772 · 23/01/2018 09:53

Sizing I meant ..

ilovecherries · 23/01/2018 10:04

Never I have the Helen jumper, have worn them a lot (have pink and red). They are very soft and comfy to wear. There is some bobbling, mainly under arms and sleeves but no more than I'd expect for a texturised jumper. However, size down (and down!). They are a relaxed fit anyway, and they go bigger in the wash. My medium is really too big for me now (size 14) even for a relaxed fit. I washinside out in a mesh back on a delicates cycle with woolite, then run my 'bobble off' thing over it once it's dry.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/01/2018 10:04

Its a completely different shape to the glitter tunic etc. In the tunic dress I would say that it is more straight up and down. Not really A-line at all.
Across the bust it seems fine. I am a 32E cup and took a small. I am pear shaped so everything is tighter in the hip area but that wont affect you if you were to buy the sweatshirt.
Don't get me wrong, I am not fussed for the puff sleeves but can live with them and I think with washing they will kind of become softer and fit more to my body iykwim. I like the pink wash of the sweatshirt.
The model wears a small in the sweatshirt. Its largish on her. If I were buying it, I would buy the small and I am a 12. I would probably opt for the medium if I was still a 14 but it depends largely on your shape. The material doesn't have a lot of give because its sweatshirt type weave. Hope that makes sense!!!!

Laska5772 · 23/01/2018 10:30

Thanks.. it was the tunic dress I was thinking of I meant .. . I may pop over to John Lewis in Southampton this weekend anyway. Im well pn yhe way to beinga12 again and quite narrow hipped but its the boobs that are the problem.. Hmm

Laska5772 · 23/01/2018 10:30

Oh sorry fat fingers also !

ilovecherries · 23/01/2018 10:57

I was in JL on Sunday and tried on the jumper version of the jada tunic. A small (all they had left) is fitting nicely. I'm asking myself if I need another jumper but I do like it very much, and think it suits me in a way the tunic didn't.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/01/2018 11:01

Yes, I love the nana jumper [hate the name] It really annoys me that its almost the same price as the tunic though but much less knit for your money Confused

neveradullmoment99 · 23/01/2018 11:37

Laska I measured it and the small measures 21 inches from underarm to underarm so plenty of space. I suppose I could have sized down to a xs but then I like a bit of looseness.

Laska5772 · 23/01/2018 13:38

Thanks Never I may order it then.

Cherries i live my Nana jumper already worn it several times (but not washed it yet) I can see that its going to be one of my most favourite jumpers already
Smile

intelligentPutty · 23/01/2018 16:06

I placed an order in one day last week and had all delivery options available.... strange.

miffy2 · 23/01/2018 17:27

Laksa what size did you go for in the Nana, I can't remember? There are Ms available but no S - I am 12-14 with big boobs!

Laska5772 · 23/01/2018 18:22

Miffy I got the Sz S am the same size as you..(and am 36E ) it is a little big but I reckon that's fine for a jumper .(too big didn't work in the tunic I thought)..

I am holding steady on the puff sleeve tunic.. until I can either try it on in JL first or Hush do something about the 10% and free delivery . My 'friends' delivery option has not reappeared yet.. Sad
