I bought a zip up fleece housecoat from M&S.

It's dowdy, frumpy and grey. It's not silver coloured as M&S claim.

I could cheerfully live in this for the rest of winter.....Hmm

I rhink I've just disqualified myself from recommending anything to anyone regarding style or fashion. Sad

My eyes! Just what is that vile thing? How can I unseen it? On the bright side, it looks very toasty. You should wear it with hideously ugly Uggs or very thick men's ski socks, ash grey in colour!

TeaAndToast85 · 05/10/2017 17:16

Haha my mum loves those things! She's never happier than when she is wearing one, pottering around in the garden with her gardening gloves on, and a few leaves in her hair

Gingernaut · 05/10/2017 17:26

If you ever find me 'outside' in this thing, I'll be watching the house burn down. Shock

Gingernut - How very dare you appear on these stylish pages! Have you no shame.! Sounds lovely to cocoon yourself in!

Gingernaut · 05/10/2017 19:04

@Deathraystare, from now on, I swear, I will never voice an opinion on any thread, where someone asks what we think of some garment she's tried on/is thinking about. Blush

How do you accessorise that? With crocs?

CherryCheese · 05/10/2017 19:08

Love that Smile

jollyjester · 05/10/2017 19:09

I have a top version of this. Not m and s but Sainsburys and I bloody love it.

My friend calls it passion killer pjs but I don't care.

Embrace the snuggles!

Deathraystare · 05/10/2017 19:22

Was only kidding Gingernut. I have an absolutely fugly thing I wear but will not show and tell!

ElfrideSwancourt · 05/10/2017 19:38

@Chestervase1 I have one like that in fleece (only it’s not YSL it was £20 from the market) it’s so warm and cosy and even has a hood Smile

BusterGonad · 05/10/2017 19:43

Apparently quilt coats are all over the catwalk for autumn/winter, Ginger you are no so lame after all! 😂

Gingernaut · 05/10/2017 19:49

Oh my god that looks awesome! I may have to buy one Smile

BusterGonad · 05/10/2017 19:55

Give it time Ginger and fleece will be the new thing on the catwalks! He he

Canofpeas · 05/10/2017 19:57

I love a snuggly housecoat but it has to have pockets.

Nyancat · 05/10/2017 20:23

I have also succumbed to an M&S zipped dressing gown this year and may never leave the house again i love it so. It has no quilting though so I'm feeling a bit disappointed at my choice, although it is belted and zipped, it's like an M&S modern day interpretation of a chastity belt.

BusterGonad · 05/10/2017 20:25

I love that Nyan!

Nyancat · 05/10/2017 20:31

donners312 · 05/10/2017 20:36

BusterGonad · 05/10/2017 21:08

GreggsSausageRolls · 05/10/2017 21:14

Would buy one but don't think it would suit a pear shape like me ConfusedGrin

Gingernaut · 05/10/2017 22:10

Mine has pockets too!

Gingernaut · 05/10/2017 22:11

No belt, however.

Pockets and zip is a winner in my books!

Squashit · 05/10/2017 22:33

I think you should model it so we can fully appreciate its majesty. 😁
