Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume - OMG!!!!! THE BEST!

OP posts:
absolutelynoway · 25/08/2017 08:22

Why?

Runningyogabooze · 25/08/2017 08:24

Are you a PR?

highinthesky · 25/08/2017 08:30

Thanks for that insight. I can now sleep easy at night.

RedPanda25 · 25/08/2017 08:31

I'm always on the look out for a great mascara - what makes it so great?

WhatsGoingOnEh · 25/08/2017 08:50

I stil believe Max Factor "False Lash Effect" is the best. Thick, long, lustrous lashes and no clumps or weird bits. Love it.

flapflops · 25/08/2017 08:56

Highinthesky thanks for your insight, if you're not interested in a beauty recommendation on a style and beauty board maybe move over to reading threads you're interested in....

OP posts:
flapflops · 25/08/2017 08:57

And no I'm not PR, I'm someone posting about a product I really like and recommending it on a style and beauty thread. I thought that's what people did on here ???

OP posts:
36plusandtrying · 25/08/2017 08:59

Is it as good as MAC false lash ?!?

BastardGoDarkly · 25/08/2017 09:00

Why's it so nice flap,?

ptumbi · 25/08/2017 09:00

I think the !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! without actually saying WHY it is the BEST!!!!! is rather annoying.

Why is it OMG THE BEST!!!!?????

KakunaRattata · 25/08/2017 09:00

Is it waterproof and smudgeproof? If it can make my short straight lashes look amazing without panda eyes then I'm interested, currently on Benefit They're Real.

flapflops · 25/08/2017 09:01

It gives volume, doesn't clump and really makes your lashes stand out, I've tried lots and this is great. I'm sorry for recommending it on here, just thought I'd share it.

OP posts:
flapflops · 25/08/2017 09:04

Bloody hell, I recommend a mascara and get accused of being PR, someone else reads the thread then comments about how they can sleep at night (don't read the thread if you're not interested !!!) and can I get slated for my use of explanation marks.

OP posts:
happystory · 25/08/2017 09:05

Ignore them flap thanks for the recommendation it's nice to know of something inexpensive that works.

Trollspoopglitter · 25/08/2017 09:07

Well, calling it the holy grail in your title, I was hoping your anonymous opinion would offer some reasons why you thought it was is OMG amaaaamezeballs. And sorry, it does read like a product placement on wrong forum.

Corcra · 25/08/2017 09:07

I'm always in the look out for amazing mascara.
I love how they're real make my lashes look but I always end up with panda eyes.
I've started using Loreal false lash (it's gold & purple tube). I find it brilliant. Also found "I

whyhastherumgone · 25/08/2017 09:08

Interesting! my favourite is flutter to full by clinique (not sure i've got the name the right way round) as it gives great volume, doesn't clump and is waterproof - yet you can take it off wirh a cotton pad soaked in hot water. But it's £22 a pop so i am looking for a cheaper one to use alongside it, i don't think i've actually tried bourjois mascara before so thanks for the tip!

MrsRyanGosling15 · 25/08/2017 09:08

Don't worry OP some people are obviously a bit cranky in the morning Smile I too am also always on the look out for the perfect mascara so will def try this. Btw if you get a treatment called LVL on your lashes then put mascara on it is absolutely amazing. Lasts up to 10 weeks too. And no I'm not pr either!

flapflops · 25/08/2017 09:09

I'll get the post removed as I have obviously annoyed people by my words, recommendation and explanation marks. I'm just grateful I didn't post anything that actually warrants people being so precious. Who knew a simple style and beauty recommendation could wind people up?

OP posts:
Twoo · 25/08/2017 09:13

flapsflops. Have you tried Mac false lash? Is your recommendation better than that one? Why do you think it's the best?

SugarMiceInTheRain · 25/08/2017 09:15

Don't worry OP, I've made that mistake on S&B before - came on because I was chuffed I'd found a moisturiser that worked on my difficult skin and was cheap as chips so thought I'd tell people but got jumped on by a load of people assuming I worked for the shop selling it. Apparently it's only ok to recommend really pricey stuff on S&B. Or maybe you have to be S&B royalty. Who knows? Whatever the reason, I tend to avoid posting on S&B because of my experiences. I will give that mascara a try - I need a new one but not willing to pay £££. Thanks for the recommendation.

chickenwhisper · 25/08/2017 09:21

I once watched a Lisa Eldridge video with Mary Greenwell, and she used a Bourjois mascara - if a renowned make up artist uses the brand, it must be good! Will give it a try, but have just bought Max Factor False Lash Effect and have fallen in love.

hungoverhippo · 25/08/2017 09:25

Thank you for the recommendation. I'm going to try it out now!
Currently using Maybelline falsies (ridiculously cheap stuff- ok but a little clumpy)
Been looking for an alternative. So thanks!

starkid · 25/08/2017 09:29

I've been loving Maybelline Lash Sensational for a good while now, I usually go off mascaras very quickly (tried so many!) but still really loving that one. Makes them so long and fluttery and non-clumping with only one quick coat :)

FuckingHateRats · 25/08/2017 09:38

I love No7 Stay Perfect . It's life-proof, doesn't smudge or flake or rub.
