Not a fan of silly sleeves generally, but I actually rather like that in red.

NameChangerGalore · 14/08/2017 21:58

I like it, wouldn't buy it myself as it wouldn't suit me, but like it nonetheless.

biscuitmillionaire · 14/08/2017 21:58

Really??? Ah well, each to their own.

prettywhiteguitar · 14/08/2017 21:59

That would work if the body was tight and the sleeves tight, it just looks awful as it is !

biscuitmillionaire · 14/08/2017 22:08

I think frilly sleeves might work on a romantic blouse type thing, but not a stripy Breton shirt. To me it just look like they've been tacked on as an after-thought, because it's the fashion so they have to do it.

The red is plain. I like it.

Cherrypie32 · 14/08/2017 22:19

I think the plain colours are ok, but don't think I'd like that the sleeve is a different material. Would be nice if all jersey.

SweetieDarling11 · 14/08/2017 22:23

I'm very partial to a frilly sleeve so it's all good with me! Smile

JigglyTuff · 14/08/2017 22:25

That looks utterly idiotic

elevenclips · 14/08/2017 22:28

That is apparently fashion. Seen it on another clothing website today and thought wtf.

fivefour3twoone · 14/08/2017 22:43

Awful, they've done some awful drills down the front of one of their Bretons too, I was wondering who actually wears this stuff!

fivefour3twoone · 14/08/2017 22:44

Frills not drills!

AmyOb · 14/08/2017 22:47

Not my taste. The frill looks a bit weird on the t'shirt.

biscuitmillionaire · 07/09/2017 21:57

Ahhahah. This very shirt has popped up on 'what mumsnetters are buying' email! Did I mistakenly drive clicks to them and boost their sales? Jesus H christ

There are going to be lots of frilly sleeves and cut out shoulders in charity shops next year.

A great "no-sex-please" item of clothing Grin

VictoriaMcdade · 07/09/2017 22:03

I think that it looks hideous. And I bet it won't wash well.

KentMum2008 · 07/09/2017 22:05

Gods sake, I hate this frilly sleeve lark. I was trying to buy some new work clothes today and they were everywhere. I couldn't find a decent cardigan without them Angry

Auntiedahlia · 07/09/2017 22:05

A touch of the Per Una

DeltaG · 08/09/2017 08:12

God, I absolutely loathe Boden. Such bland, frumpy and frankly over-priced stuff. I don't mind paying £££ for something lovely, but I don't think they have a single item that could be classified as such!

Hoppinggreen · 08/09/2017 08:17

I don't normally do frilly stuff but I've just bought a black t shirt with white spots on and frilly sleeves from Sainsbury's
It's really nice and I've had quite a few compliments- don't think I will be getting a frilly sleeve Breton though

AnnabelleLecter · 08/09/2017 08:19

For crying out loud. Awful.

ChestnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 08/09/2017 08:19

Look nice with mum hair- guaranteed to ensure no men bother you Grin

LapCatLicker · 08/09/2017 08:20

Awful. Can't wait til this frilly sleeve thing dies!

Leilaniii · 08/09/2017 08:21

A great "no-sex-please" item of clothing.

Indeed it is. And it will look crap after the first wash as well.

TheHandmaidsTail · 08/09/2017 08:22

Horrific!!

I wonder if they will do a cold shoulder version
