A frilly 3/4 sleeve is awful because you can't reach it to hang on when you push your arm into your coat so it rides up, making an uncomfortable lump inside your elbow.

Frilly trousers are worse. I was waiting for someone outside our building and a neighbour came out to hail a taxi (hence me being able to gawp at her full glory).

She had 4 ruffles on each trouser leg. She looked like a lampshade. What is this whole 'look like you've put your blouse on as trousers ' look?
