Jo Malone giveaway - anyone know why?!

Got a free 100ml bottle of Basil & Neroli and a free home candle today with two purchases. So did most of my friends. Anyone else? Anyone know why?

Just been into a store to test - the staff there were very surprised to hear the website was giving away 30ml colognes.

Also discovered I like basil & neroli, so may have to invest.

Does anyone know if the basil cologne is ok for men?

I'll buy something if a 100 ml bottle comes up. The 30ml ones aren't enough to tempt me and I didn't fancy the Orris and Sandalwood being offered yesterday.

Orris and Sandlewood is gorgeous. I wear it often.

Not quite as nice as the Myrr and Tonka, but close.

@SnotGoblin I've had different fragrances but also heard of someone getting mimosa and cardamom on day 1 which I've only had offered today but more and new things do come out!

I've not ordered from JM before but I did to get my freebie! How long do they normally take to deliver?

I'm going to wait it out for a 100ml too. I did get one win of a 100ml one yesterday but didn't like the sound of it - it was the 'men's' one.

I have placed a few orders and one for a colleague too. I got lucky this morning with a 100ml bottle of Basil & Neroli and bought the Pon Mior exfoliating shower cream. I already got a 30ml B&N yesterday but that will be perfect for SIL's birthday as that is her fragrance...

Now I have my fingers crossed for a free candle so I can get that and a room spray for my mum.

I've not had a candle today at all and have been trying all day. Just 30ml colognes - B&N or Mimosa - or free engraving.

Same, no candles since the morn. I don't think my order managed to cancel in time, as no email back and no cancelled against the order in my account.

I got my candles and Pom noir room spray yesterday. I think they ran out fairly quickly. Maybe try again tomorrow?

I would've liked a room spray. I got a candle yesterday but it was removed from my bag/sold out before I could check out.

Still no idea why the give away. The member of store staff I spoke to today went straight on the phone to hq to check it out and then still wouldn't believe me. Had to show her my phone to prove I really did have a free 30ml cologne in my basket - before that she insisted I must have misunderstood the promotion as they only give away the small 9ml ones.

Still keep playing in the hope of bagging a free 100ml cologne, but all I've been offered lately are 30ml B&N or M&C or free engraving - no candles or body cream today.

All I'm getting now is the engraving and the occasional 30ml cologne.

I saw Sali Hughes was sent a body cream and cologne set with the same pink "just because" thing. My theory is they're rebranding so trying to reduce 'old' stock.
