You can't go to bed yet - theres a thread on being unreasonable about being upset because her husband threw a creme egg at her!

princesscc · 11/03/2007 22:23

ooops slip of the finger! You do that isaidno and I'm sure you'll look gorgeous!

isaidno · 11/03/2007 22:35

do you want to start a reminiscence about how creme eggs used to be much bigger?

OP posts:
mosschops30 · 11/03/2007 22:51

No talk about creme eggs thank you

what about those dodgy hyercolor t-shirts that changed colour when you got hot (what a nasty idea)

do you remember a shop called Snob, i bought a great basque in there at the age of 14 and my mother made me take it back

boots No. 17 Earth/Wind and Fire eyeshadow was my thing, with the fire in a stripe up the side

isaidno · 12/03/2007 09:20

wow - I'd forgotten about snob!

In answer to the OP: sure, if you have the body type of a model.

I love these tops, but they don't look good on me.

I put them on my tall, slender daughter instead and they look fab.

Well - I was born in 1962, so have seen everything come and go at least twice.

I had two older sisters (the eldest 10 years older than me); mum liked to dress us alike, but was too thrifty ever to throw anything away. So when I had grown out of my own 70s flared trousers, I had to wear middle sister's identical version. And when I'd grown out of hers, I had to wear biggest sister's. Those of you with elementary maths will have realised by now that I was ALWAYS 10 years behind the times, and didn't even get to vary the colour of my out of date clothes.

To this I attribute my shopping addiction of today.
