Thanks Jo -- I think IamRonnieBiggs better described the skirt I meant. It was definitely more a-line than pencil in this case (and ever so pretty!)

Re the blue frayed top, there's one on eBay, size 8 so sadly too small for me....

I would love to know where the navy jacket that Paula wore when she went to her daughters grave (Episode 3 near the end) was from? It was tweedy, Chanel style.
The clothes were fab! I work in Glasgow and wear ankle boots with dresses, but the styles featured make me want to tweak my work wardrobe a bit more! Well done Jo!

I have a few tops that are the cos style but struggle to get the trousers right. Can anyone suggest trousers to wear with for example that top shop blouse?

I'm soooo pleased with my fakey Ellen-style Sainsbury's coat off the back of this thread!

Watching this has really made me want to rethink my wardrobe - the clothes and gorgeous locations were the best thing about it!

I've ordered the Sainsbury's coat too! The clothes were lovely. I live in Glasgow and it really made me sit up and appreciate the buildings and scenery. And the clothes; it's inspired me to be a bit more adventurous style wise, don't think I'd have went for a patterned jacket before.

I did have a look at the sainsburys coat but I find the cut very old fashioned. The pattern is similar from a far but I think it's the neckline that does it for me.

Yes, I think the neckline might be unflattering on me as I'm larger of chest! Will see what it's like on.

I've just bought the Sainsbury's one..thanks mumsnet! Nice casual but statement type coat...and v nice price too! I too adored all Ellen's clothes on "The Replacement" and was googling to see where they were from when I came across this thread...mumsnet does it again!! :-)
