This is a decent dupe for the blue blouse I think? m.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/origami-wrap-blouse-6214755?geoip=noredirect&cmpid=ppc_pla_UK_ip&utm_medium=cpc&tsrc=vdna&istCompanyId=38aa0d7f-6514-4cb3-bbdc-df0d32d48b7f&istItemId=xilwtarwwq&istBid=tztx&gclid=CIGkqMuy2dICFQsR0wod6nkJog&gclsrc=aw.ds
I am trying not to let last night's episode put me off the style. Bit of a car crash. Including the air bag.

JoSlater · 15/03/2017 21:16

If you mean the leather bomber it's AllSaints.
I'm loving that dupe!! Well done. I'm sure Cos will have something very similar in soon thou.

Yes the end does seem to have let it down. I hope it doesn't get in the way too much! X

Unicornandthunder · 15/03/2017 22:12

Hi Jo, sorry to bother you but could tell me where the light blue short sleeve blouse with a bib and unfinished hem comes from? I love that blouse and wouldn't it for myself. Many thanks in advance.

Unicornandthunder · 15/03/2017 22:12

It's in the second episode btw!

WicksEnd · 15/03/2017 22:29

Unicorn, jo has responded to that up thread. ^

JoSlater · 15/03/2017 23:04

Hi, I think you are referring to the Cos one. It's unavailable at the moment but muchas above found something similar in TopShop

firsttimemum15 · 16/03/2017 03:45

Hello where is thhe shimmery silver opaque tea from that ellen worse on scence one and at lunch at the house when Paula tried to touch her

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 16/03/2017 07:59

Clothes were great.

IamRonnieBiggs · 16/03/2017 08:08

Can I ask where Ellen's dark blue a line skirt with the white geometric pattern was from - she wore it twice I think

My DH even commented he thought it was perfect for me!

wrapsuperstar · 16/03/2017 09:26

Thanks Jo -- I think IamRonnieBiggs better described the skirt I meant. It was definitely more a-line than pencil in this case (and ever so pretty!)

Maranello4 · 16/03/2017 11:05

Re the blue frayed top, there's one on eBay, size 8 so sadly too small for me....

PeachMelba78 · 16/03/2017 13:58

I would love to know where the navy jacket that Paula wore when she went to her daughters grave (Episode 3 near the end) was from? It was tweedy, Chanel style.
The clothes were fab! I work in Glasgow and wear ankle boots with dresses, but the styles featured make me want to tweak my work wardrobe a bit more! Well done Jo!

museumum · 16/03/2017 15:06

Loved Ellen's clothes. I've bought the Sainsbury's coat Grin

I have a few tops that are the cos style but struggle to get the trousers right. Can anyone suggest trousers to wear with for example that top shop blouse?

firsttimemum15 · 16/03/2017 16:07

Also loved the metalic shoes Jo you did a stunning job

LemonadeWithACherry · 16/03/2017 18:44

How exciting to have Jo on this thread!

The clothes, makeup and locations were the best part of this show. I loved Paula's Mint Velvet jumper.

I'm another one who covets Paula's lipstick Sad

Cherrypie32 · 16/03/2017 21:03

I'm soooo pleased with my fakey Ellen-style Sainsbury's coat off the back of this thread!

Watching this has really made me want to rethink my wardrobe - the clothes and gorgeous locations were the best thing about it!

Missushb · 16/03/2017 23:45

I've ordered the Sainsbury's coat too! The clothes were lovely. I live in Glasgow and it really made me sit up and appreciate the buildings and scenery. And the clothes; it's inspired me to be a bit more adventurous style wise, don't think I'd have went for a patterned jacket before.

Isobela · 17/03/2017 05:49

I did have a look at the sainsburys coat but I find the cut very old fashioned. The pattern is similar from a far but I think it's the neckline that does it for me.

OP posts:
IVFNewbie · 17/03/2017 09:25

so was she shagging Dougray or not?

Missushb · 17/03/2017 09:37

Yes, I think the neckline might be unflattering on me as I'm larger of chest! Will see what it's like on.

BalletZeus · 17/03/2017 11:21

The Zara blue and white jacket was referred to earlier.

Does anyone have it /recommend it?

Thanks

febel · 17/03/2017 11:40

I've just bought the Sainsbury's one..thanks mumsnet! Nice casual but statement type coat...and v nice price too! I too adored all Ellen's clothes on "The Replacement" and was googling to see where they were from when I came across this thread...mumsnet does it again!! :-)
