What are you going to wear, MI? Smile

Organisers are asking people to bring a symbol of respect with them, which I won't manage, but will probably leave my marching vuvezuela behind, if I make it after gym and succession of coffees with friends this morning, lightweight

Cremolafoam · 25/03/2017 09:45

Grin at vuvuzuela Lalsy! What a thing!
Good signage is a must. Good for you both on marching!StarStar

On the way btm😎gorgeous in NI too. Spring at last.

Cremolafoam · 25/03/2017 09:54

Am on the ridiculously slow train to The Big City.

Well done to your ds, Cloud. You must be very proud.

That's a shame Rudy.

Which route is the march taking?

motherinferior · 25/03/2017 10:59

Cremolafoam · 25/03/2017 12:25

MrsSchadenfreude · 25/03/2017 15:54

Think I am unlikely to make drinks tonight as we are going to have to leave earlier than I thought for the paartaaay.

Crem, will text you re Monday.

Cremolafoam · 25/03/2017 16:40

Fair enough Mrs S. See how you're fixed.
So far London seems like we've arrived in 'another land' what with sun and BBQs lit on Clapham Common. It was a nice day at home, nut like, 4degrees.Smile

hattymattie · 25/03/2017 17:00

I am in Waterstones browsing. Have come here direct so am scruffy but couldnt be bothered to go bsck and change.

CointreauVersial · 25/03/2017 18:04

I'm not up to it this evening, crepeys, have a lovely evening.

MrsSchadenfreude · 25/03/2017 18:04

Are you all there, getting drunk and raucous? Sad

wordassociationfootball · 25/03/2017 19:40

I left them sashaying off for dinner. Lovely to see smallish but perfectly formed group of Stropps, MI, Lalsy, Addle and Hatty.
Wither Mrs Wobble, I ask myself. I was rather looking forward to interfacing RL style.

My mum is asking for a book of short stories so I think we can take her off the fading bench.

Auriga · 25/03/2017 22:55

Hope you've all had a lovely time at the MU. DD's concert was brilliant :-)

BeachysSnowyWellieBoots · 26/03/2017 09:11

Happy Mothers Day Crepeys Flowers

Sitting in a breakfast hall with colonnades eating croissants and honey...

Scorchio here yesterday, off for more Roman stuff today!

IDismyname · 26/03/2017 09:13

Hope you all have a Happy Mothers Day with your offspring, and they all step up to the plate or cooker or washing up bowl and give you some time off.

DS has left for work, but I got a huge hug, a card and a ginormous box of chocolates (that I know he especially likes) Grin

Looking forward to hearing all about the MU in due course.

I had to come up yesterday morning for an open day near Chelsea Harbour, and spotted the most beautiful woman at the station wearing thigh high EU Blue boots and matching mini dress, complete with blue war paint and a placard. She was quite a show stopper.

IDismyname · 26/03/2017 09:14

'Morning Beachy!
Loved the FB pics.

motherinferior · 26/03/2017 10:02

My DD1 has made me a card. DD2 has I think forgotten and so has DP. To be fair I did say please don't fuss about it. Unlike my birthday when I want a MASSIVE CELEBRATION OF ME possibly with a marching band.

Lalsy · 26/03/2017 10:15

Oooh Beachy your hol sounds fab.

Lovely to see people last night, and to meet you MrsW.

No sign of any Mother's Day action here - never is, usually.

Cremolafoam · 26/03/2017 10:30

Lovely to see you all last night. Great MU, and super to meet you Mrs S.
Dh was slaughtered with the wine when I got home and had to be tucked into bed. Poor tired, emotional thing.Hmm
Another lovely day is on the cards so off out now to make the most of it.
Happy M. day Smile

Cremolafoam · 26/03/2017 10:31

Mrs W obviously.

MrsSchadenfreude · 26/03/2017 10:42

Lol at marching band, MI. The DDs have done well this year - flowers and Hotel Chocolat chocolates. Last year I got a small bunch of chrysanthemums from the 24 hour shop, quite late in the day.

I am still in bed, and am exhausted after last night's party. My family is so huge, I was seeing kids running about, and thinking, we are definitely related, but I'm not sure who you are! My cousin's daughter has five kids and she is not yet 30. (Last time we saw her, my mother, predictably, asked her if they all had the same father.)

Rosebag · 26/03/2017 11:14

Hope the MU was lovely. Beachy the FB photos are amazing...Envy
MrsS any update re your DM? Sounds like a good party...was this the Norf London gang?

Auriga that's lovely about DD's concert!

I object to Mothers Day so don't get given anything. But that doesn't let me off having to make a fuss over the older generation. Tea table for DMIL and DM etc is set. I have made brownies and a Simnel cake. Hmm

Crem if there are any Monday mini MU opportunities can you PM me...? It all depends where, but would love to see you. xx

hattymattie · 26/03/2017 11:34

Hello ladies - lovely to see you all yesterday and WAF - so sorry I walked on up the road and didn't say goodbye. I didn't realise you weren't coming to the restaurant.

Am back on the Eurostar having slept really badly owing to worry about time change and missing my train. Am going to snooze now.
