have run out of liz earle and can't justify another £20 on a moisturiser this month. what is the best one I can buy for ideally under about £12 locally?
Am 47 with normal skin but lately has been prone to breakouts!

Aveeno cream

Green I don't think Q10 has the same smell as traditional Nivea products. The blue pot Nivea does, but Q10s smell is subtler and more like the smell of expensiove face products. It also isn;t greasy, and doesn't drag on your skin like the blue stuff does. I love the smell of original Nivea but use Q10 because it is so good.

eucerin the one with urea in a tube. i happily buy £85 sunday riley but i still have a eucerin on the go at all times!!!

Not a product recommendation but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was that Liz Earl causing the breakouts.

possibly, I have the liz earle skin repair moisturiser and I noticed I had breakouts after using it.

Another one for Boots Time Delay. Also TD has an SPF of 15. In winter I often add a drop of jojoba or coconut oil, but I have dry skin. Smile

Neutrogena hydro boost water gel, it's amazing, I have an oily t zone and its the only moisturiser I've tried that doesn't make my skin breakout.

I've been told that any Nivea moisturiser products can cause facial hair after long use - so for me it's a No No!!!! Aveeno is very good and they too have a pump.

CETAPHIL! Its amazing and especially for sensitive or eczema prone skin - i love that it blatantly states 'NO LANOLIN' as i am highly sensitive and they hide it under different names a lot of the time :/ My skin feels great rn!

TheEdgeofSeventeen · 22/02/2017 16:37

Oh and i agree with Urea Eucerin! Thats a really good one but I only use the night cream because i find it separates my makeup.

TheEdgeofSeventeen · 22/02/2017 16:39

Oh and if you have sensitive skin i suggest avoiding Nivea and Astraal - both hide lanolin and my face went like a tomato from Astral.

Aldi's skin care ranges are excellent. I was a Clarin's user until I discovered their creams. I am saving ££££££!

Neatfreak38 · 22/02/2017 17:39

I have used for ages Nivea (the blue pot is thick, the bottle is runny) both available in the £ shop!
If not Aldis serum one..£2.99..I use the anti aging one and love it's texture and sure it won some award?!

I must suggest the whole of the SuperDrug B range

Really good quality ingredients
