Ivanka Trump didn't make the coat, It was designed and sold by a French fashion designer called Joseph Altuzarra.

Now it is possible that designers may give her clothes to wear for free for publicity purposes but otherwise I cannot see how the Trump family are gaining business from the OP liking a coat she wore.

Strangely enough I did not ask my question about the designer of a particular garment either to help you or to send business the way of the Trumps. I just wanted to know who designed a coat that I really liked the look of.

I am all for praising a dress everyone. Kate Middleton wears a dress and it's all sold in no time. Of course it works both ways: Kate gets amazing styles some of which are even probably made keeping her in mind and the designers get the publicity. so why is it hard to understand that it works exactly the same way for Ivanka? If she wears this coat and you like it and go in and buy it, you are putting a stamp on a woman who is effectively the First Lady to Trump who is doing all sorts of abhorrent things against women.

In fact, a twitter hashtag #dresslikeawoman is trending right now. Apparently, Mr Trump if very particular about how his female staff needs to look in terms of dressing.
Considering his history, public is finding it creepy hence the hashtag.
I am sure a man like him will be very happy to see Ivanka's dress choices approved publicly.
