Thanks Fedup I'm using this one from their range at the moment but don't rate it at all.
Trinny is recommending the Wella SP range incl their keratin mask at the moment so those are on my list to try.

i didn't realise it was so close for your sister blair she, and you, must be so excited! hope all goes well for her and baby

need to clear out my make up bagS i think. i've got some stuff that i think is a bit old and rubbish now and i want to see what ive got thats still decent before i buy anything else, don't want to be piling up products that are never going to get used. I am using a lot of maybelline Baby Skin atm, i was using Benefit Pore-fessional before but the baby skin is less greasy on my skin and the fact that its clear rather than having any colour means it doesn't interfere with foundation, sometimes i was getting colour bleed through from the pore-fessional as it was darker than my foundation

DryWhiteagainW · 09/03/2017 06:52

Just dashing on to wish Stokey best of luck in your interview today.

Fedup can you link the trainers you've bought? I'm lasy

Not too sure whether my otter is a bit garish today....too late need to go now.

QueenC I love Oasis, fits me v well....lovely pink t.

Mara I've been obsessing about that Splendid (?) floral shirt dress you ordered from the O the other day....you look great in them, am trying to show restraint.

See you all later....have a good Thirsday

DryWhiteagainW · 09/03/2017 06:52

OTTD....I don't have a pet otter Shock

shopafrolic · 09/03/2017 08:13

Otter???? Best typo ever Dry
All the best of luck for today Stokey :)
Yes One it was amazing how many lipsticks I owned in almost exactly the same shades. Well worth clearing out (and also binning anything past it's shelf life).

You are otterly amazing Dry!

Go for it Stokey, best of luck, will be thinking of you.

fedup old jeans never work for me either when I try and go back to them, think styles change subtly but significantly. I threw away all my old bootlegs a couple of years ago and couldn't believe how low waisted they were for example.

My outnet order arrived yesterday and I ADORE the dress, the print makes me so happy and is nicely balanced by the sober equipment tailoring. Can't wait for warmer weather to start wearing it.

Today it really feels like spring is in the air though. I ditched my heavy winter coat for navy APC trench, wearing dark pink and green digi print Marni dress (old) with black ankle boots and carrying the dark navy trio. Out for drinks after work at a v smart place with a v stylish friend so made a little bit of effort!

Have a great day all.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 09/03/2017 09:23

binning a lot is the plan Shop clearing it all out and starting fresh or near fresh is what i'm aiming for. I don't think i have that many lipsticks though, i haven't been a big wearer until the last year or so, so i don't think i've got too many. eyeshadows are my downfall, i have so many and they last sooooo long! definitely some of them can go though

best of luck today stokey Thanks

AmberNectarine · 09/03/2017 10:38

Sympathies dry, nothing worse than being upstaged by a garish otter, in my experience.

AmberNectarine · 09/03/2017 10:45

A bit frail today due to 'a quick drink' getting predictably out of hand; getting too old for this.

Wearing bright print trousers, navy sweater, navy J Choo loafers, navy Gucci disco and a leopard print scarf that I stole from my mum.

Busy weekend, so need to get my shit together tonight!

libertydoddle · 09/03/2017 12:25

Mara what's the sizing like on Equipment shirts? You were right about the Current/Eliott sizing, the waist of the size 30 I ordered is massive...

Stokey · 09/03/2017 14:45

I have an image of Dry walking along a canal with an otter on a lead Grin

Thanks for all the luck - it went OK but not sure I'm quite what they're after.

Shop I think jeans, top and blazer look great on you & would work really well for an interview, especially if it's not too formal. It is hard not having a workwear wardrobe as such, but i think a lot of places are not that formal these days, particularly outside finance or law.

Caught up on Catastrophe last night, I love that show, and she has a great style too.

libertydoddle · 09/03/2017 16:07

Good to have it over and done with Stokey. Fingers crossed for you.

libertydoddle · 09/03/2017 16:16

Fedup I keep forgetting to answer your question re how baggy the Trafalgar jeans are - they have a lot of lyocell/polyester in them so they are very soft and probably need a wash every 3 wears. There is a lot more material around your lower leg than in skinnies but straight legs suit me better I think so I don't mind that. I thnk I'll wear them rolled up a bit anyway as the weather improves.

Speaking of jeans sizing I'm keeping the Current/Elliott cords with the massive waist Grin. They look quite good worn slightly lower and belted and work with lots of my stuff.

shopafrolic · 09/03/2017 16:37

Has anyone found anything good in the sales? I couldn't see anything in the Outnet clearance.....

shopafrolic · 09/03/2017 17:00

This Etre Cecile sweatshirt has arrived and is fab. A little on the large size (I ordered a large as that is the size my EC tee is but this is a more slouchy cut), but I think it works. Love it - perfect neckline for me.

Grin evening all.....you've made me laugh!!!!

I wore my tomato red Hobbs skirt few seasons old with black Oasis embroidered sweater, K Geiger pointy black patent flats...the skirt always feels bright but think it worked. I was told I looked Spanish Hmm........

Stokey will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Longislandicetee · 09/03/2017 21:49

Good evening! Stokey, glad you're through it, i will keep fingers crossed for youFlowers

Blair, yes I was thinking of you too as i wore my coatGrin Have you heard from the job prospect that you were looking at or are they still messing you about?!

Mara, very glad that you're beautiful dress suits, and you too Shop that yet another Breton is a keeperGrinWink

It's been a long week for me. 2 sets of parent evenings despite trying to keep my working hours shorter than usual. On the plus side, i have loved my work dresses this week. On Monday i wore my new Ted Baker knitted dress, Tuesday was my new Alexander McQueen jacquard knitted dress, Wednesday my new Alexander McQueen geometric skater dress and today, an old favourite - a red Hobbs shift dress over a TM Lewin flowery shirt with a chunky belt in the middle. (The pink McQueen dress is one i almost sent back because it didn't suit me when I bought it, though I tried it on just before my period arrived when boobs inflate!)

Dry....you are soooo funny!

dry my dds were asking me why I was laughing when I read about your otter earlier Grin
mara I really love those Equipment buys, they do such good prints.
lib lovely jeans. I find Equipment sizing varies by style. The slim signature is my favourite fit and I am a medium in those. The lynne collarless style comes up a bit smaller imo but I am still a medium. I think the signature come up slightly looser as I have one in medium but its definitely bigger than my other 2.

Speaking of Equipment I just ordered this Its a bit of a departure for me as I usually avoid anything ditsy looking like polka dots and hearts but I really like the style and the red on black, plus I got it new for a lot less on ebay Smile
I love that sweatshirt shop and I think your aunt was right re the monochrome look, you can totally carry it off. Hope your interview goes well.
stokey fingers crossed for you!
amber those hm tops are lovely, funnily enough I was looking at the cream version of the red one the other day and wondering whether to buy. It looked more expensive than the price tag.

I had a quick look through my wardrobes earlier, I need a good clear out and get rid of a lot of stuff. I have identified that I need some smartish black trousers. Its a shame banana republic have closed down as I wanted to try the sloan trousers. I suppose I can still order online. Would also like some silver brogues or loafers. Might hit the shops tomorrow. I like the idea of shopping then cba when I get there!

Love that shirt Justa and the Oasis top Queen, will have a look at it in store but need some brighter colours in my wardrobe. I'm a bit like you and Shop that I could live with black, grey, navy and then a bit of bright pink and red. To tie in with that have just used the £10 voucher Boden sent me towards this which I've been lusting after for a while http://m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/clearance/womens-handbags/cross-body-bags/am265-mul/womens-multi-print-pony-pony-clutch
So glad it's Friday, absolutely shattered!

queencerulean · 10/03/2017 11:28

Ah, I love otters-a pet one would be really cute!

justa I'm gutted too that BR has closed down. Does anyone know what has gone in their place in regent St? It was a massive store.

It's so lovely that the weathers warmed up. I'm hoping that I can put the Barbour away finally!

BerniceBobsHerHair · 10/03/2017 12:17

I love a Dry typo Grin

Are all BR shops going? And how about online?

I always seem to miss out on the Outnet clearance.

When will you hear about interview outcome Stokey?

And good luck for yours today Shop! What did you decide to wear?

Justa hope you enjoy your shopping trip - I am the same as in if I go to buy something specific, I lose interest, I am an impulsive shopper unfortunately!

shopafrolic · 10/03/2017 14:05

Mine's on Monday Bernice - more time to panic Grin
