Have had a quick catch up on links. Love the top dry and so glad the McQueen is a keeper blingy.
I've never seen the appeal of Mac either-like dry the hordes of teens put me off.

Amber I am with you on yellow, I like it but it looks awful on me. I have a few pairs of yellow shoes, sandals and slip on trainers - I like your boots.

I like some Mac lippies but agree the Matte ones are really drying. Plumful and craving are my go to everyday shades, today I am wearing capricious which I am not sure about as I think it is a bit too brown.

Still very cold here but I have made a few spring purchases:
Pink trainers - not sure if I will keep these as they look like they will be dirt magnets. Pretty though.
White slingbacks - prbably wishful thinking as won't get to wear these for a while but I do like white shoes!

OOTD - I am wearing my non working uniform of burgundy check shirt, boyfriend jeans, Adidas superstars. Yawn.

Is anyone managing to look / feel a bit more spring like??

I got an email from whistles today for their sales preview. The giraffe print shirt and dress are in it, as are a million jumpers and accessories. I also got one for m&s. Not much in that either and anything I clicked on for myself or the DC was sold out in our sizes....m&s stock control online is appalling. There quite a few nice things on the outnet at the moment. I'm trying to hold off buying too much summer stuff yet as it's still so early! Though it is tempting especially when the sun is out as it is today.

Everyone I thought the M&S one was rubbish - was hoping to get some bits for miniShop but nothing of interest. I think the entire amount in his age covered one page.
I've ordered this Whistles sweater - I've been eyeing it up for a while and thought it was worth trying with free delivery and returns. Not sure exactly what colour it is though as the description just says multi.

Nice jumper shop, you can't go wrong with stripes . Yes the m&s one was pretty pathetic. Don't know how they can always be sold out of everything online

I got a Stories sale preview today, I bought a grey cashmere jumper with side splits. I've had a grey jumper wardrobe gap for a while now
Love the white flats bernice tempted by the red but I have very similar ones in suede from bimba and lola last year.
Lovely jumper shop difficult to tell if its black or navy.

I am still firmly in my winter clothes, still way to cold for bare ankles for me although I saw a fair few today on the sr including sandals

Justa so sorry to hear about your df, you've had a tough time recently. What a relief he is now on the mend. Loved the Dune flatforms so a shame they got sent back.

Lib for you, I hope things calm down a bit for you now and that you manage to find a smidge of time for yourself. Lots of great advice from the lovely voguettes on here.

I love Mac eyeliners and that's all I buy now; also their eye shadow. My everyday lipstick used to be milan mode but when I last replaced it, I didn't like the feel of it so guess the ingredients have changed. My current fave lipsticks are Bobbi Brown sandwash pink and Charlotte Tilbury My Secret Salma.

Blingy, I agree with Amber (big congrats A btw!) that Chanel ballerinas would be great for you. Couple of other ideas I had for you were Chloe Lauren flats and the Aquazzura dancer which has a more rounded toe so they look softer but still the same idea as the original Christy ones.

I had a quick browse in Céline on my lunch break and fell in love with so many of the shoes which I think is why got so excited by your white flats Bernice! The SA was wearing a shirt and cropped black wide leg trousers with these trainers. The whole look was so fresh, classic but bang on trend at the same time. Those trainers are way outside my comfort zone price wise but did get me thinking that box fresh white flatforms would go with so much of my wardrobe plus could wear them for work. Found these online which look good too.

I wasn't to buy anything this month but felt that spring was in the air today (didn't go as far as wearing sandals though justa ) and scratched the itch for some more equipment prints - dress and top.

QueenC, glad you had a great weekend, saw some of your pics it looked gorgeous where you were.

I wore a variety of satin-y finish tops from H&M in red, navy (though it says dark grey) and dark grey justa as I have heard light-reflecting looks good on TV. Although I don't think I can bear to watch it back, tbh! DH wants to book a meeting room at the office and get some drinks in

Glad it's over now and I can return to the real world - out Weds and away Friday and Saturday nights (totally different locations!) plus plans every weekend until mid April and also moving house somewhere amongst all that, so I need to get my shit together!

Have the day off today so will use it to regroup (and also go out and buy the Mac lipstick I wore on the show as I loved it).

Mac retro matte in relentlessly red. Drying as hell obvs but the colour was fab!

Very impressed by your clock Amber and your tops look great. I have Ruby Woo which is massively drying too, slightly better if you slather your lips with vaseline about 10 mins before application but not sure it's worth the effort.

Nice shoes Bernice, think the pink trainers will be great for spring. I met a friend at the weekend who was wearing some blush Nikes with black trousers & white shirt, looked great.

I don't really do shirts much, but can see how they'd be better interview wear! If neither of the &OS ones arrive/work, think I'm going to go for a trusty black Hush dress.

Amber will check it out - agree with Stokey on Ruby Woo - fab fab colour but so drying. Shame they haven't found a way to bring it out in a different formula as the colour is so loved.....

i don't find ruby woo all that drying but then again, i am constantly moisturising my lips with a variety of balms so perhaps thats why
