Gosh, long time no post

Am slowly catching up on the thread, have taken on some extra work which seems to be taking up my MNV time Grin

Blingy is this the scarf you saw me in? I think it's the only scarf I've worn to a MU LV leopard stole in brown am still hankering after another one and might investigate if I have enough time at the MU Glad you're slowly starting to feel better but it sounds like a long drawn out process, hope you're coming to the end of it Flowers

Fedup that Whistles dress is so easy to wear isn't it? I wore mine with Ash Jalouse too. I'm liking the navy one too for work.

Amber that's such a fab sweatshirt you linked for Blair are you going to go for it Blair? Wink

Beautiful ring Fairy although I also love the1st one Blingy linked too

Blair funnily enough I've traded Boden for Jcrew, haven't looked at the Boden website in months, for me I think they're all they're good for swimwear and work trousers, I think JCrew is more me now. Although I have found a Tippi substitute - Uniqlo, have just hand washed them all, what a chore, the Uniqlo are a lot thinner than Tippi but they look just as good on, buy will they last 2 years though? Hmm

*Justa so glad your mum is back, hope she starts to feel better soon Flowers love the IM boots

Went to yoga this morning in the snow, brr i seem to be wearing my black Nike Theas a lot, I love them.

Hope everyone is not too cold in this snow, am off out later for a walk in to town, pity I only ordered grey Sorel's yesterday, they'll arrive in time for Spring!

Stokey I'll pm you about the builders

Sorry for the essay oops!

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2017 20:00

Justa so lovely to have you back, I'm really pleased your mother is home and ok. I hope things are rosy soon. .

Kitty big wave, lovely to have you back too! I have those Sorels in black, love them. Great for the snow.

Blingy great clear out.

Fedup those trainers are hilarious.

I did well in Liberty but I failed to meet the brief! I couldn't find anything very client-ish so still haven't resolved what to wear to the meeting and dinner.

I did get this Rag & Bone cashmere red jumper. So soft, so luxe in reality. I couldn't help it, I go to what I know.

Also this APC tshirt with little flowers in off white, which feels easy and fresh.

I feel like I've kick started my Spring wardrobe which makes me feel happy.

kittyhello · 11/02/2017 20:08

Argh I now get what you've all been ranting about, in no way did I link B0d3n or Un1ql0 grr Angry

Lovely buys Marsha how was Vienna? I've never been.

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2017 20:13

I haven't been yet! This week. I haven't seen it either. I've flown there and passed it by. Will be nice to see it for dinner this time.

shopafrolic · 11/02/2017 20:19

Annoying right Kitty
Back from dinner. DB was on good form which made life easier than normal. Wore my COS ruffle sleeves sweater, rag and bone blue skinnies and black SE Karen boots with fuschia pink suede clutch bag. DS is shattered and went straight to bed no fuss. Now watching the Voice.

But did you wear the pink ones Shop?

kittyhello · 11/02/2017 22:01

Oops serves me right for skimming, just read you wore the black ones!

libertydoddle · 11/02/2017 22:18

Gorgeous buys Marsha. Perfect spring items Smile

Very pleased to hear you are back justa and I hope your DM continues to recover well.

Blingy I'll be late to the MU as well this time. So me, you and amber for a late one.

Glad to hear your DF's celebrate went well shop.

I studied for 7 hours today Sad. Seriously regretting my decision to do this module. It's very interesting but such hard work.

libertydoddle · 11/02/2017 22:20

And I love the jacket fedup linked. Will probably sell out before end of my shopping ban though....

shopafrolic · 11/02/2017 22:26

Kitty I tried the pink on but the sleety snow was bad and DH said he preferred the safe option black.

AmberNectarine · 11/02/2017 23:02

Ah, lib, my old partner in crime 😉

Low key day today - woke up a bit frail post-karaoke date night with DH, took DC to cinema as he had to go into the office then just pottered at home.

Haven't bought much recently, other than this belt which I wore last night over one of DH's white shirts and leather leggings. Went down well!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 11/02/2017 23:09

hopefully i will make the MU, Dp is pushing, gently, for me to go so i will have had some company other than him down here! As things stand, i can't currently see any reason i can't come.

Bought a suedette biker jacket today in a deep burgundy colour today. Just needed another option as it turns out all my other jackets and coats are in storage so i only had my long grey wool coat with me! i mean, it's cold enough right now for the long grey wool but it won't stay that way forever so i needed options.

I've really hurt my shoulder and i don't know how i just know it's really really painful right now. I'm so grateful for having my painkillers all sorted out now and knowing i'm getting what i need

blingy oh yes, pain is bone crushingly exhausting isn't it. no other feeling of tiredness compares to it in my experience.

FedupNagging · 12/02/2017 19:10

One you killed the thread Grin Wink Your suede jacket sounds lovely. Hope your shoulder improves asap for you.

Marsha fab purchases, love the t shirt and the way the jumper is styled. You need to go back for a dinner outfit now.

Having seen a lot of cut off/frayed jeans outfits online recently, I think I may do that to one of my pairs for spring just to get out of the plain skinny jean look. Maybe get the silver superga's I was lusting after last year to go with.

Amber I am pretty sure one of the faux leather skirts I tried and rejected was about the size of your zara belt. I wondered at the time who could wear a skirt that short then immediatley thought Amber could!

I used the B0den voucher towards a couple of belts yesterday Skinny blue belt bargain and a tan classic. Am disappointed to see they have stopped doing the ankle zip jeans as they were a good fit on me.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 12/02/2017 19:13

fedup guilty as charged Grin

the jeans i bought last week have frayed bottoms, they are meant to be cut off just above the ankle but on me they are full length jeans, the pains of having short legs!

littleredlipstick · 12/02/2017 19:26

Another quiet lazy weekend for me. It's just so cold and dreary just want to stay in the warmth.

Though have just booked a cruise for October 2018. It's just a 7 night with Spain Portugal and France but it's our first one. Hoping to do some city breaks this year as youngest heads to university in September 😢

Drywhitethanks · 12/02/2017 21:08

So quiet on here !
No fashion news but I wore my C05 navy wool coat today with khaki skinnies and bit plaid scarf remember that Z4Ra one Shop nice and toasty in this horrible weather. Wish it would just get on and snow properly, can't be doing with puddly slushy flakelets.

Stokey · 12/02/2017 21:56

Anyone watching the Baftas? I like Daisy Ridley's dress.

shopafrolic · 13/02/2017 08:50

I watched a bit Stokey but then had a load of clashes on my Sky Box so couldn't carry on - so annoying.

Everyonelovessparkles · 13/02/2017 08:56

Lovely red jumper marsha. I hope you find something for the event. Do you have an idea of what you would like?

amber was that belt styled with the black ribbed dress you recently got from z4ra?

Nice belts fedup. Shame they've stopped doing the jeans you like.

Any idea which cities you would like to go to littlered. DH and I used to do a couple a year pre DC. Sometimes I miss that type of holiday.

Well done on all the studying lib. At least when the weather is so miserable there isn't much to do so you don't feel like you're missing out on too much.

Your family meal sounds nice shop.

stokey I saw some of the BAFTA dresses online. Overall I thought they seemed quite nice, better choices than some of the recent awards ceremonies. What did you think of KMs dress? I quite liked it but thought her hair looked a bit odd...

It's a nice morning here, cold but the sun is poking through. OOTD is my monsoon denim dress and long black cardi. Just enjoying a quiet coffee before heading home and facing the day!

libertydoddle · 13/02/2017 09:08

Cruise sounds lovely littlered. Nice to have things booked to look forward to.

Ahem yes Amber, that shared inability to leave half finished bottle of wines on the table!!!

Nice OOTD everyone, are you WFH this week?

Still in PJ's here, have the week booked off but lots of study to do and DH is having some surgery today on his ankle and will be in plaster so I'll be busy. When I was going out to the black tie dinner last week DD got all annoyed and asked why I don't wear my pretty dresses with her so I have promised her that when we have dropped DH off after lunch I will wear the dress I wore to it all afternoon with make up and heels and she can dress up too and we'll be princesses for the day Grin

queencerulean · 13/02/2017 10:04

Hi all!! So lovely to have some time to catch up. I worked full time last week as I was on a course as have just spent the weekend recovering! Dd has also been unwell so has been in bed with me for a few nights waking up lots. But anyway, it's half term now! Hurrah! Heading to stay with friends in an hour or so so won't be around for the next couple of days.

I've vaguely caught up with everything. justa welcome back.

I managed to find some time at the weekend to do a couple of orders. Some shoes that (for me) are ridiculously expensive but I couldn't get them out of my head and after a hard week I just thought, fuck it, so ordered them. Also a dress.

I can't wait for the meet up. Gutted so many of you will be joining later on as I think my train is at 8. Next time I really may book a hotel room! I'll justify it as it'll probably be libs leaving do Sad.

Love emma stones bafta Chanel although would have preferred it without the trousers underneath. Saw la la land last night with dd and loved it although I would have preferred a different ending. When we got back we downloaded the soundtrack and danced around the kitchen!!

Anyway, love to you all. Mwah.

Everyonelovessparkles · 13/02/2017 10:08

lib that's the kind of thing my DD would say as well. Hope you have a great afternoon being princesses. Smile 👸 Yes at home today, might go in tomorrow as I have to do a load of photocopying Grin

Longislandicetee · 13/02/2017 14:05

Oh lovely Lib! My dd would love that. Have a fantastic afternoon Smile.

Just heading out for fresh air. My first walk in 3 months. Just 20 minutes to go and buy dh a Valentine's card. Followed by a nice long rest at a coffee shop.Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/02/2017 14:22

Hi all!

I need to remember not to order from B0den again because returns aren't free. The post office lady has to remind me every time and it annoys me unreasonably!! Angry
(I also noticed elsewhere on the site that the words m0bile ph0ne linked to v0dafone?! Ugh.)

I'm grumpy because it's Monday, but I had a fab weekend, got home from karaoke at 5am on Sat and then spent the rest with my sisters. Baby shower was lovely :) On Fri night I wore gold leather skirt and navy silk shirt, then on Sun I wore my Stella skirt, neon coral Tippi, Uterque shoes and pink tassel earrings.

justa lovely to see you back, and glad your DM is doing better. It's been so cold I haven't been able to wear my coat yet!

Blingy it's a nice day for a walk :)

Enjoy your princess time Lib and MiniLib!
