bought a red and green tartan blouse today that has a high neck and ruffles down the front. think it will go well with black skinnies and converse. Really need to think whether or not i have a black blazer, i'm pretty sure i haven't and that i got rid of the one i had because it was too big but i don't want to rush out and buy a new one until i'm sure i definitely haven't got one

have got the start of a cold so feeling a bit sorry for myself and hiding under the blanket to stay warm. i love a nice soft fluffy blanket, they are like a secong skin for me!

I think I missed the B skirt you ordered Blair - not sure if you linked it in your post or it's this new MN highlight thing whenever you mention a brand, anyway, it's only showing the home page and not the skirt. Very frustrating.

Fedup no I didn't link, that is really annoying they've started doing that. It was a navy lace skirt, linked when I bought it. It's odd, I feel like I ought to own some Boden stuff, but I return everything I buy. J crew much better for bright basics.

Amber good to know about half price Friday! Chinese friend has organised it as he is over visiting, so we are going to a place in Chinatown, not really Soho as I thought.

Busy weekend for me - Dsis2 and I are going to stay at Dsis3's house on Saturday and then on Sunday is her baby shower which I've organised. It's just afternoon tea and games but should be fun :) need to plan outfits...

Fairy I love Trinity de cartier rings. I think my favourite is this one where the diamond is studded. I think the studded diamonds show off the beauty and simplicity of the design.

The other Cartier one I like is the love ring but I think I prefer the love bracelet.

If you switch designers but still around the £5k price, I quite like Bvgalri B.zero1.

Although nothing like the Cartier or Bvgalri, I have been crushing on Pomellato nudo rings for a while and what to get 2 as a stacking rings.

If you were going the blingier route and spend £10k then you can't go wrong with the Boodles raindance. If I was stuck with wearing one ring on my right hand forever then it would probably be that because it goes with everything.

This is making me want a new ring for Valentine's day.

Anyway with my ring no gasping Voguettes! I did find it after all! it had rolled under my bed. My rings has been ready for about 6 weeks but I have been bed bound so not been able to go to Mayfair to collect. My sales guy has offered to bring it to my house but it feels a bit Princess like!

Everyone those trousers sound good. Very annoying that Boden aren't doing the Breton you wanted. Like shop I'm fed up of jeans and while I love dresses and skirts they can be a faff in winter with the need for tights and not warm enough. Comfy trousers that look good are a holy grail item.

Today's outfit, M&S midi leather skirt, C&P green and cream stripe top, Ines for Uniqlo double breasted cardi/jacket, opaques, tan brogues.

How annoying about j crew blair and kitty. As lib says, I think we will see an impact on the cost of all clothes and accessories this year.

Shame about the boden items blair. I also return a lot of my boden buys. I think because they always have offers and offer free delivery / returns I buy things on a whim knowing it's easy to get a refund! I do have a fair few boden items but realised it's because I have a lot of multiples - 3 blackberry dresses, 4 ravello tops, Bretons etc The rest is very hot and miss and pretty pricey.

Nice outfit lib. Yes the trousers are more casual than I was originally looking for, but are fine for everyday wear. They just need a bit of a longer length top or a long cardi over a shorter top.

It's miserable here today - wet and grey. I hate days like this. Especially when I have the DC. Still feeling ill as well so think it going to be a loooonnnggg day. And they were both up at 6.35! Typical on a non nursery day!

Hello lovely voguettes. I haven't traveled for a while for work, about six months but I'm going to Vienna with the new job in the next week. Feel a bit out of it all! Forgotten what it's like. Stokey I was describing my old kitchen. Sob. I had it installed it in my old house. Then a couple of years later my dream house came up for sale so we moved. So now I am living in my dream house with a lovely kitchen but it isnt amazing dream kitchen. I am hoping sometime in the next 2/3 years I will get a new kitchen.
