Show me your eternity ring!

I am getting an eternity ring for a significant anniversary soon but can't quite decide what I want. I have size i ring fingers and anything too wide looks daft-especially the full eternity rings or even the half (7stone) ones, so was thinking maybe a 5 stone one? In platinum or white gold but can't find anything exactly right.

I like this picture but it's an American site and made of zirconia anyway.

Do you have a beautiful eternity ring for me to look at? Do you love it??

Opal flanked by two diamonds. Got it in the Lanes in Brighton, think it dates from Edwardian times.

This is mine. Designed by DH and made locally. A 1 carat trilliant cut diamond from the Polar Bear mine and 5 smaller ones in the top band

I love eternity rings, so much so that I wear it as a wedding band. It's a double row of diamonds set in white gold. Got it from Beaverbrookes 10 years ago and it was about £1400.

Mine is a maternity ring, 4 diamonds for DD1 whose birthstone they are (she was 4 when I had it ) 2 either side of an amethyst DD2 s birthstone(she was1 )My original was stolen in a burglary but I like that it reflects both my children
I have tiny hands and three rings together look silly so I wear it on my middle finger. .It's also modern and my engagement ring is Edwardian (was second hand possibly now counts as vintage!)

Calzone- I think it largely depends on the width and style of the rings, as well as the lengths of people's fingers.
I have quite long fingers, and narrow rings (2mm wedding ring, and roughly 2mm bands on eternity and engagement rings), so I can very easily wear my wedding, eternity and engagement rings in that order from the base of my finger. If they were wider I think I'd feel uncomfortable though.

Mine is a plain gold band with random set diamonds (tiny!) and amethysts. Got for 10th anniversary, last year was our 20th! I love it but currently too small so not on my podgy finger . Will dig it out tomorrow and add.

Mine was a 20th anniversary ring, it has 5 diamonds each with a halo. For a little more money I could have had 7 diamonds, but, as a previous poster mentioned, I didn't see the point in paying for diamonds that would not be visible most of the time.

Mine is a double half eternity, if that makes sense...I tried quite a few different eternity rings and found that most just looked too solid for my hands, especially channel set rings. I'd recommend trying on a few different types as I think it can be difficult to predict what different rings will look like once they're on your hands.

i went for 1.2 caret (plat) which was broken down into 21 small square shaped. My ring size is i.5 and my engagement ring is a round cut .75 but is size i and I can't fit it on.

Here is mine. It's a different style to the one you like as I wanted one as skinny as possible. It's 1.1 mm thick and I love the way it sparkles and catches the light. My size is also I.

I travelled from Southampton to Birmingham for a trip to the jewellery quarter for my wedding ring (It was well worth it and my ring was no dearer than high street jewellers)

I liked your questions so much I've answered them here!!

-What are your existing rings like? I have a plain wedding band and a 0.7 carat solitaire.
-Would you wear it with the others or on another hand? On the other hand.
-What type of metal are your existing rings? Yellow gold but I want silver metal for this ring and don't think it matters as it's on the other hand.
-Expectations of metal (white gold needs re-rhodium around once per year to keep its white appearance. If worn with harder metals like platinum this will happen more often and you will notice a big difference between the 2 I'd like platinum but not sure I can afford it!!

I still don't know if I want 3 stones or 5 though . Going to a jewellers this morning to try some on...!

Mine is a full band with emerald cut stones. Cost about £2500 to make.

Here is mine. It is diamonds and rubies with 9 carat gold. My wedding band is 9 carat gold too.

I love these threads because I am a complete magpie. This is mine. I tried loads before I got this one from a jewellery in Hatton Gardens. It was love at first sight. I wear it on its own as nothing will fit with my engagement ring. I recommend taking your time to chose. Mine is white gold, but if a platinum version had been available, I would have gone for that, so not to have to have it replated. Some beautiful rings out there.
