I am 38 across my back - I have a broad back (not very feminine) and then the tinest of tiny boobies - an A cup to be precise.

not bloody fair - most people with a broad back are at least usually blessed with huge norks.

those with an A cup are usually blessed with a danity frame.

Not me - huge bull of a back only to emphasize my tiny boobs.

And I can never find a bra I like in a nice size.

Oh mine are just hopelessly enormous 40HH which sounds fun but isn't and one is bigger than the other and I can only get one bra to fit that doesn't look like your Granny should own it and and I could go on for ever...

32H normally, but 32J at the moment, and I have to wear manky feeding bras.

Bravissimo are wonderful whatever size you are - I'm a 34GG and went yesterday to get fitted and a new bra - it's wondrous - is pushing me up, holding me in and manages to be relatively pretty whilst seeming to be made from steel...

Yep, Bravissimo are marvellous, that's where all my bras came from before.

I have a 40B from M&S which is too tight around, even on the loosest (3) hooks, but the cups are too big; and a 42B which is OK around (but has 4 hooks ) but still a bit oversized in the cups - I really am a 42A

poptot, 40HH doesn't sound much fun either.

I just went googling for 42A to try to prove that it doesn't exist and found a (post-mastectomy) supplier which amazingly has some quite nice bras in very unusual sizes - not glam, but not major upholstery either, and you don't have to have had a mastectomy for some of them to fit (generally they come with pockets on one or both sides to hold prostheses)

Have a look, DT - Eloise . Not so helpful for you though poptot, the only 40H they have (no 40HH) is Doreen which I imagine you are well acquainted with already and not what you are looking for!

According to Rigby & Peller, I am a 32G. Which seems fairly mad to me.

Oh, and Agent Provocateur don't do a 32G. So I have to be a 34F there.

Margo, do I beat you at 36J or is that kind of the same as 34JJ but with a bigger back?? I am pg though, although last time I was a G/H cup before baby and a K whilst breastfeeding, so I am expecting to be an L when I feed this time (hope that's all, as Bravissiomo don't go bigger than an L in a breastfeeding bra)

Not if you have saggy boobs! I can't wear balconette otherwise my cups runneth over!

30D but my boobs are yuck and have yet to find a 30D that fitted especially with lots of padding etc which is the only type of bra I will now wear!
