i don't like it either

tortoise · 05/02/2007 10:45

Have to agree with him.

ledodgy · 05/02/2007 10:45

On the right person worn the right way it could look nice in a funky way, worn on the wrong person in the wrong way it could look hideous.

colditz · 05/02/2007 10:45

humph.

Well I have bught smething similar, in purple, and it was £1 - and I quite like it.

I quite like it, but I know dh would hate it.
Still, you ought to see some of the clothes in his wardrobe... I'm too polite to say anything, but some of the stuff he likes is truly vile. Dog-poo brown chinos, anyone? Teamed with a plum satin shirt? (One of his favourite outfits, btw).

colditz · 05/02/2007 10:46

Well it keeps my arse warm

OP posts:
MerlinsBeard · 05/02/2007 10:46

well thats ok, world would be dull if we all wore the same things! I am not a fan of patterns anyway and for £1 you can always turn it into a cushion cover

colditz · 05/02/2007 10:47

dp being dp says it is disgusting and hrrible and it makes him feel sick, and it's the minginest thing he has ever seen etc etc

I like it.

Cappuccino · 05/02/2007 10:53

I like it

but nothing looks good hanging from a hanger off a door

MrsBadger · 05/02/2007 10:58

I think there are many men with irrational hatreds of floral patterns.

I agree the photo does it no favours, but he still won't like it when it arrives, every time you put it on he'll make loud and realistic sick noises and you'll end up never wearing it.

I speak from experience .

suzycreamcheese · 05/02/2007 11:12

lol itsmendp..though my granny would never have worn it!
sorry i agree w/ your dp but it might look better on....

paulaplumpbottom · 05/02/2007 11:20

Feel happy that you have a partner who cares enough not to let you go out of the house in it.

kookaburra · 05/02/2007 12:32

Am wearing on similar right now...( what are you wearing?) DH also makes remarks about it being good for cushion material etc, but gee - what does he know, he's just not gay enough IMHO...
He likes the leather thigh boots tho', just doesn't get they're not always suitbale to wear to work

newgirl · 05/02/2007 12:49

I really like it! Would wear with boots or maybe over jeans.

gingermonkey · 05/02/2007 20:02

I'm not keen, but that's because I don't agree with the rest of the world's love for wrap dresses. Diane Von Furstenburg (sp) has a lot to answer for!!! And when you bend over, everyone can see your boobs... sorry!

colditz · 05/02/2007 20:04

Ah see, I would wear it with black trousers, boots and a black camisole thing underneath it.

Nobody likes that idea at all, do they.

OP posts:
brandnewhelsy · 05/02/2007 20:05

I like it. Wear it with a wonderbra and knee length black boots - if your DH is anything like mine he'll be happy with anything he can see your knockers in

brandnewhelsy · 05/02/2007 20:06

Ooh, Colditz that's how I'd wear it, but I thought if I said that people would say I had crap dress sense

Beauregard · 05/02/2007 20:07

I dont think it looks too bad .
