I am the wrap dress queen - even my 9-year-old DD tells me to put them down when she sees me pick up one in the shops - how many have you got now Mummy? Is it 10? Um, yes dear. I would definitely buy that one - in fact I have one quite like it. I wear it over jeans or with black opaques and boots and never fail to get compliments.

ILoveDolly · 05/02/2007 22:20

quadrophenia our dps should start a support group for partners of women who like to wear colour. dh looks at my outfits, sighs and says 'are you wearing that outside? its a bit bright' i just tell him to put his shades on. i have it on good authority that colour is in. i mean , look at colditz

colditz · 05/02/2007 22:21

Q I like that bluey turqiose top thing - is that the dress? I love bright colour but am not usually brave enough it venture out of black + jeans. Or black jeans.

Oh God no, don't look at me as an example of How To. I haven't a clue. I just brazen everything out with a smile, and if I get funny looks I point my sons at them

I think my dp deffo needs a support group
Yes it is a dress from tescos

quadrophenia · 05/02/2007 22:31

if you wear clothes with conviction, like you are supposed to look like that then you will look good.

ILoveDolly · 05/02/2007 22:31

its nice and turquoise a good colour. i have been having a mustard and purple combo moment lately.

ILoveDolly · 05/02/2007 22:33

deffo and i find black shows up the biscuity smears put on me by dd

quadrophenia · 05/02/2007 22:36

stitch · 05/02/2007 22:36

i like it coldy.

RosaLuxembourg · 05/02/2007 22:37

It looks great Colditz. I love wearing colour lately - after about 20 years of looking like a Mafia widow. Luckily DH approves.

quadrophenia · 05/02/2007 22:38

how dare you have a dp that approves

RosaLuxembourg · 05/02/2007 22:39

But he doesn't like me wearing trackie bottoms. There's always a downside.

quadrophenia · 05/02/2007 22:40

I don't like you wearing trackie bottoms throw them in the bin

RosaLuxembourg · 05/02/2007 22:41

I only wear them around the house after the children are in bed. Please, can't I keep just one pair?

quadrophenia · 05/02/2007 22:42

no get some pyjamas trackie bottoms are just wrong for lots of reasons!

Croaky · 05/02/2007 22:42

Don't listen to your DP - it's fab. Great fabric. Very flattering. Plenty of pizzazz. Versatile. Over jeans. With black opaque tights. In summer with sandals. And what's more it's a barganista! What's not to like.

quadrophenia · 05/02/2007 22:43

I am very certain of this rosa no to trackie bottoms

sauce · 05/02/2007 22:46

How can he say that until he's tried it on?

colditz · 05/02/2007 22:51

LOL

I do need some beads to match
hmm, and a handbag....

No. It's not a bargain then!

BassMama · 05/02/2007 22:52

Are you serious? That dress is wicked - very trendy and flattering!

Men know nothing. Dont ask advice from a man!

I think go for it if you like it.

RosaLuxembourg · 05/02/2007 23:02

Actually Quadrophenia - my pyjamas are even more revolting than the trackie bottoms - ancient washed out Primark numbers. Funnily enough - last night DH asked me what I'd like for Valentine's Day - and when I said I really do need new pyjamas he agreed wholeheartedly! So the remedy is in his hands. As it were.

colditz · 05/02/2007 23:15

You do realise, RL, that you will probably be presented with a bright pink crotchless body stocking?

OP posts:
Aloha · 05/02/2007 23:17

I like this dress.

colditz · 05/02/2007 23:18

It's not the one in the OP you know?

It's in my profile.
