Meriboo both gorgeous!

MarshaBrady · 29/09/2016 18:47

Happy not convinced on the Office boots, quite a bit going on

Drywhitethanks · 29/09/2016 18:53

Interesting about bloggers......I've been an avid follower for about 4 yrs since I joined MN and have just realised I haven't looked at one for at least 3/4months!

Blingy don't worry I think this will be a long search, it needs to be perfect and I'm wary buying anything before all the Christmas party stuff comes in too. Will look though........

libertydoddle · 29/09/2016 19:12

Marsha it was linked a couple of threads ago. I'm on phone so can't link. it's the Finella satin midi dress, on the Matches site.

MarshaBrady · 29/09/2016 19:15

Ah thanks Lib

Here's the link if anyone else is wondering Preen dress. Very lovely indeed

MarshaBrady · 29/09/2016 19:18

And here's KM in it Preen Grin

I just got so many hits of Royal sites, and what she wore. I just needed your bog standard DM

libertydoddle · 29/09/2016 19:28

Hilarious convo about her jewellery on that link Marsha Grin

Hilarious Grin

Everyonelovessparkles · 29/09/2016 20:23

That preen dress is gorgeous.

Nice bags happy. Where do you keep them all? In my dream house I would have a big dressing room with all my bags on display admittedly if I had my dream house I'd also have a dream bag collection too Grin

Good news on the pistons dream.

mara the green ghost dresses are lovely.

viva hope you aren't feeling too bad.

I'm exhausted at the moment. DS is waking up several times a night and is taking ages to go back off to sleep each time, so I've had weeks of broken sleep. I feel, and look, like the living dead.

libertydoddle · 29/09/2016 20:29

Oh that's hard work everyone. What age is he?

OP posts:
Everyonelovessparkles · 29/09/2016 20:46

20 months. He's never been a great sleeper but being awake ages at each waking is just soooo tiring.

HappyGirlNow · 29/09/2016 21:20

Thanks all for opinions on the Office boots.. I've ordered.. Am not sure either, appreciate rest of outfit would have to be really, really simple! But I do like a bit of edge...

lib I have that Zara jumpsuit - absolutely love it! Am still awaiting Zara coat so may well look awful on me too..

everyone I have a large shelf in my wardrobe where some lie flat in dust bags and I also have a modern chrome coat stand from IKEA in a spare bedroom my dressing room where I hang lots of bags.. I too would love a full on dressing room with shelves to just sit them and a chaise longue to lounge on while admiring them Grin

HappyGirlNow · 29/09/2016 21:22

Preen dress is lovely but KM wearing something normally kills it for me..

HappyGirlNow · 29/09/2016 21:25

As part of my Sober October I am also abstaining from spending. Might as well go the whole hog! Grin So I'm currently panic ordering anything I think I might like from Zara before the month end Grin

libertydoddle · 29/09/2016 22:34

everyone At one point with DD I moved into the spare room and had her sleep with me. She still woke but being in bed seemed easier and she gradually got used to just chatting to herself while I dozed beside her. You have my sympathy, being sleep deprived is awful.

Happy no booze or shopping Shock. You are hardcore!!!

Hello thread! Am delurking to ask what I need to do to look at links of images in Pinterest. I am using an iPad so keep being told to use the app, but when I get into it, all I see is images Pinterest thinks I'd like, not the ones posters link to.

shopafrolic · 30/09/2016 08:06

Happy how much do you drink in a month? to be fair at the moment if I abstained from booze I could probably afford a Hermes in 3 months Grin

shopafrolic · 30/09/2016 08:09
HappyGirlNow · 30/09/2016 09:48

Haha shop there's no direct correlation between my monthly booze spend and the purchase price of a new Saint Laurent Grin but to coin a lovely Scottish expression, I've been 'kicking the arse out of it' a bit lately Grin with maybe only 2 or 3 totally booze-free days a week Blush

Anyway, I've decided October will be my month of self-improvement and I've set myself lots to do and goals to achieve both personally and for our business while I have a totally clear head Wink

Everyonelovessparkles · 30/09/2016 10:29

happy I'm also trying to kick start a new regime in October. I've started a kind of bullet journal (how are you getting on with yours shop?) to try and be more organised and want to start my exercise routine again and am also aiming for 3 alcohol free nights a week. My birthday is in October and it always makes me reassess my life and instigate changes. Not sure how long it will last though!!

Stokey · 30/09/2016 10:44

Good luck on the life changing regimes Everyone & Happy. I need to sort myself out & start concentrating on trying to work now both Dds are at school. Self-motivation is hard though.
The day just seems to go so quickly from 9-3, probably should spend less time on MN.

hi SeaRabbit. I'm no expert on ipads as DH is techy so Apples are banned in our house, but that often happens on my phone - the link just leads to the main Pinterest page instead of the actual link. I normally find if I click it again, it takes me to the right place. But I did give up & downloaded the app after a while.

There seem to be a lot of mid-season sales starting at the moment, I've had emails from All Saints, Baukjen & Banana Republic today, as well as constant Gap & Boden ones. Am still hanging out for Hush... I'd like at least 20%.

AmberNectarine · 30/09/2016 12:33

Urgh. Sober October feels like a good plan right now. Staggered home at 2am. Why do I keep doing it to myself?!

Did a little light shopping this morning to take my mind off it shirt, boots and skirt.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 30/09/2016 13:16

I'm going to join you Happy on the no spend October. We can support one another Grin

Stokey I am hoping for a Hush code too (after October of course) - still hoping to buy the jumpsuit in green.

KM looks great in that dress, but agree that she doesn't really inspire me clothes wise. I think she is too classic in her style for me.

Everyone hope you get some sleep soon - like Lib I have also slept on a mattress with / near children - and often still do!

Dreamqueen · 30/09/2016 13:35

No sober Oct for me! can't go on hol and be sober at the same time I haven't drunk for 2 weeks & am down 5lbs Smile
I'm trying to pack minimally & in complementary colours but failing miserably. My plan is to buy all toiletry products at airport Boots, then I should be ok weight wise. what do you think or should I cull some clothes?

I don't need anything so hoping for a no spend October. I realise i have too much stuff & need to be more selective in my shopping.

shopafrolic · 30/09/2016 13:47

Mara [[US Vogue editors, you’re being ridiculous – fashion shows have changed - the guardian
apple.news/AZ7_PlUJAQMSsMnEfLUubdQ]] Hope this link works. Interesting response.
Happy that would be some going wouldn't it
Have just been told Dad will be moved for his procedure tomorrow. The op will happen Monday so progress at last!
Everyone I love Bullet Journalling. Brilliant system.
