8 snaps. I've just had the most loveliest of lovely baths. Face mask and exfoliate. And have shaved my legs properly for the first time in about a year. Our bath broke and we've renovated the bathroom. Tonight was the first test run of new bath. Bliss.

Now drinking loads of water.

everdene · 25/09/2016 20:28

Hi, I'd love to join!

My brows are like caterpillars, I'm at that awkward pregnancy stage where I just look fat, and I would like not to look roughed than Rudolph's back end come Christmas.

My plan is to:

  1. take a (pregnancy) multivitamin
  2. keep my nails manicured
  3. walk 10,000 steps a day
  4. iron and lay out my clothes for the week on a Sunday
  5. sort out my handbags
  6. wear makeup everyday at work
  7. blow dry my hair twice a week
  8. get out my Autumn wardrobe and chuck out/Chazza shop old clothes
  9. 5 fruits/veg a day
  10. 2 litres water
  11. go to the dentist/hygienist
  12. floss everyday
lifeistooshort · 26/09/2016 11:35

princessing working well too here. I did the dermaplanning have taken better care of my skin and changed my make up. Have my hair cut and straightened on Saturday and I have had loads of compliments today which is quite unusual. I think it is going in the right direction.

Now need to loose the weight.

Ememem84 · 26/09/2016 21:41

Eyebrow wax and shape booked.

2litres of water drunk.

5.5k walked.

GoofyTheHero · 27/09/2016 08:06

Can I join?

The main thing I need to do is lose the stone I've got lingering after 2 babies in 2 years (although youngest is 14 months so no excuse!!)

Also...

  1. drink more water
  2. drink less coffee and wine
  3. get to the gym 3 times a week
  4. eyebrows threaded every 2 weeks
  5. shave legs regularly, not just when my 2 year old tells me they're 'spicy'!
  6. wear make up
70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/10/2016 01:54

Bumping:

Doing ok, but the Tracker hates me, I cannot wear it on my wrist ( Infection Control) so I put it round my ankle (like I'm tagged) it doesn't work properly , tells me I've done 134 steps Hmm the liar.

I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks so I need to Step Up The Prep.

My plan is to spend a week Hot'n'Horizontal, getting a tan.
The reality will be trawling round the waterpark (I'm a slightly better swimmer than DH) .
I'm going to relax my dietry needs a bit , it'll probably weird out my intestines but I'll be on holiday !

Peopleplease · 01/10/2016 16:22

Sigh. I have 3 pairs of maternity jeans, 2 under bump and 1 over and none of them are comfortable. What are comfortable are Mothercare yoga trousers which aren't exactly flattering (and are black & I have a cream dog)

I'm not surw whether to give in to comfort or try more jeans. I only really have Next & Mothercare to shop in (and a few Red Herring from Debenhams bits)

8FencingWire · 02/10/2016 08:10

I'm going to go for a run once I finish m coffee. Looks cold out there.
Today I must do my pedicure.

Onehellofaride · 04/10/2016 14:17

I've been missing for a while and I've done rubbish! Must get back on it starting tomorrow though as tonight is definitely a large bar of chocolate and TV night!

Shesgotelectricboobs · 05/10/2016 11:56

Trying a messy bun today. I'm off sick so haven't really made a huge effort. But messy bun is a new thing for me.

I've also super moisturised my face (stinking cold so feeling very unpretty).

Drinking loads of water though. And getting loads of sleep.

Onehellofaride · 05/10/2016 12:46

Woken up today feeling crap and I have an exercise class tonight along with horses to look after and work! always tomorrow Sad

Peopleplease · 05/10/2016 15:40

I looked at my eyebrows today - eeek! They're way too long and bushy. Need to fix.

Oh matching socks.

Wore more make up than usual today as have been feeling awful this week full of cold.

lisam78 · 10/10/2016 18:41

Hello all, how is everyone doing?
I had been doing well the past two weeks - nails done, face masks, hair blow dried twice a week, light fake tan done, eating fairly well. All fell apart this week though- poorly kids, disturbed sleep, feeling tired, chapped lips etc. Plus it was DD's birthday party so the house has been full of kids party treats, which I overindulged on!
Need to get back to the drawing board. Need the inspiration from this thread to get me started!

Shesgotelectricboobs · 10/10/2016 19:23

Doing ok. Not as well as I'd hoped. Am sticking to a skincare routine. And am drinking loads of water.

Minor setback in I was sick with Cold. So because of that and the drugs my skins broken out.

8FencingWire · 12/10/2016 05:50

Well, I got a nice tan now, but I'm horrified at how fat I am. As in proper orange peel back of thighs and several tummies. Must do better.
The plan is to get back into running properly, not just sometimes and then I'm breathless anyway. :)

IBelieveTheEarthIsFlat · 12/10/2016 13:22

Can I join in? I have some beautiful clothes and boots but I'm about 10lbs too heavy.. I have quite a physically demanding job at times which bizarrely makes it easier to gain weight as I am often too knackered to go to the gym and binge eat cos I'm starving. Should be calming down a bit for winter now so hope to get back to the gym.

I also need to sort my skin out and get a decent hair cut as I have been neglecting it. But gym every day and 2 litres of water is my first target. But I really want to fit into one particular dress, so that's my goal.

Going to reaf the whole thread now to catch up

IBelieveTheEarthIsFlat · 12/10/2016 13:24

OK, I'm off to put on some Paula's Choice AHA 10% as it improves the texture of my skin when I'm looking knackered

Ohdofuckoffplease · 13/10/2016 10:22

Am I too late to join please?

I have a really dodgy relationship with food, so will not be doing anything diet related, but I am planning to do some more self-care; I haven't decided what exactly, except regular trims at the hairdressers.

I also want to start doing some 'proper' exercise regularly. By proper, I mean things like jogging, swimming, a gym class or a weight session at home. To me that will be a change, as I've been rather lazy lately.

I have rosacea, which can be exacerbated by alcohol, so I am trying to reduce to only the odd glass of wine on special occasions, and never more than two small glasses of wine on the same evening.

Helgathehairy · 13/10/2016 11:19

It's never too late to start!!

I need to make a hair appointment. My colour last time wasn't quite right and think I'm going back to overall colour as it will be easier to do myself for a while after baby.

Want a curling wand too. Might give a wander to TK Max after dropping DD to preschool. Mine have had a few Korean face masks recently.

Planning a wax/henna/haircut this weekend.

Need to get myself organised going on holiday

I have some travel bottles to decant some nice smellies into, need to make a list of things I need .
I bought a stripey H&M cotton dress with pockets for dossing about in .

I'll be (hopefully) all tanned and buff (yeah , right Grin ) for Christmas .

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/10/2016 21:16

I'm still in Prep For Holiday Mode then I'll get back into Christmas Princessing Grin

The weekend was a bit of a Scoff-Fest (DH Birthday)
Went out for pizza on Friday
Chinese meal on Saturday
Sunday Dinner today

My poor innards are a bit Hmm now (I eat very minimal wheat though in my defence, I had rice noodles )

Busy week ahead so plenty of time to get back on board.

CurbsideProphet · 24/10/2016 19:02

Just bumping to see how everyone is getting on?

I have started getting my threading done regularly and have finally had my hair cut!
I'm also trying to stop saving clothes "for best", as that means they never get worn.

My feet look a right mess, so I really need to sort them out next.

Ketsby · 24/10/2016 19:45

Anyone recommend a teeth whitener? I thought most of the ones on the UK market were too weak to make any difference.
