I'm devastated to discover that Doc Martens seem to have stopped making Viola boots...they were much like the Charla ones only taller. Charla looks odd on me as I'm tall. I bought the Viola in black last year and was going to get the brown this year but they seem to have been discontinued!

Scarlett - they have the taller ones on eBay.

I was tempted to buy them last year but I thought the calf might be too wide for me. Can anyone report back on what the width fitting is like?

I've ordered them and I have quite skinny calves- I normally have a nightmare finding boots because of them, so I'll report back when they arrive!

I've got the viola ones - they discontinued a similar one before - Jessica I think. They are very lovely.

I also have skinny calves, but these seem fine in the pictures. Now I'm getting worried. I hope they fit me!

I've got the just below the knee ones in brown and they are fine on the calf. I wanted the ones that came half way up the leg and they ere definitely welly like

Love them! I have the Vonda with flowers up the side and Gayle ankle boots still in great condition so can't justify another pair but am still jealous of those. They look like they go with everything!

I have them. I also have the Gayle ankle boots. They are awesome and look better with age too.
They look fabulous with everything and so, so comfy.

Lovely, and very practical.

I don't really need new boots, this winter. I could probably do with some smartish shoes for work, though. So that will be exciting for me.
