I'm wibbling about mine now. The gap looks massive to me when I wear them but dh thinks they're fine...I've never worn boots with a gap like this before. I'm thinking of bulking out my legs with leg warmers or really thick knee high socks when I wear them (hopefully it'll be cold enough). Need to find good quality thick socks/leg warmers now. First time ever I hate my skinny calves 😒..

Hate I think they look ok in the photo where you have bare legs, although obviously you need to feel happy. I am not sure they are meant to be tight ones. I also have slim calves so will probably have the same problem if I order them.

Got my red ones, they're gorgeous. No gap worries for me, my chunktastic calves stretch them to the limit! There's a lot of give in them. I will wear them with dresses. Lovely boots. I want the black ones too...

Your legs look pretty similar to mine, and I actually think them not being skin tight is a good thing.

My red ones are due to be delivered tomorrow - I think I must have got the last pair in the sale (size 3) cos every other size was sold out.

I'm wavering dave. I do love them, I'm going to try with leg warmers or thick socks and see how they look before I decide. I think wearing them with tights or leggings is out of the question now!

I emailed the Dr M store customer service and they said they were not going to be getting anymore in, so perhaps they are a discontinued line?

I'm surprised everybody is raving. They're the sort of boot that don't look great off but look fantastic on. I bought some similar about 2/3 years ago in Germany. I've had loads of compliments. And I've worn them so much, really versatile.

Thanks everyone! I guess it feels weird having a gap there; I'll believe you lot! But just incase, I've found someone link "boot cuffs" on the boots thread on here. They're like knitted bands for around the calf. I'm going to buy some and try it out as well. And they look quite nice too.

I'm sorry for all those who missed out on the offer...they were on sale for about a week before I posted on here, because I did "uhm and aah" about them.. then they were gone within a day or 2. The power of MN! I'm glad they're still being sold elsewhere.

I think that once they are sold out in other outlets, you'll struggle to find them apart from on eBay maybe?

I ordered some lovely snuggly cable knit tights from White Stuff to wear with the boots when it gets colder.

I only ordered them yesterday and they just arrived!! Vvv impressed with that and they are so cosy and lovely. Bring on the winter!
