Oh don't wish this lovely mild weather away!!
I have just spent more money. - some sports bras - badly needed,
And then I went into to Maxx and got a lovely cosy over jumper.
I am ready for the winter, but am on leave this week, so am happy to be able to go out walking / running in the lovely sunshine!

Thank you for the measurements and the photos! I really like the look of those but really prefer boots a bit taller and maybe a bit smaller around the top--I will keep hunting.

I have very similar ones - the Authentic Wedge - in red and brown - which I got about 10 or 11 years ago. They come out every winter, still going strong.

Yep, my red ones are at least 8 years old. And they are still a winter staple!
They just aren't quite as wide on the top.

I bought a pair online in red! Love DMs, not the classic ones I used to wear as a student but their Gayle biker boots are gorgeous; so comfy and long-wearing. I have chunky calves so don't know yet if they'll work.

Shins - I have chunky calves, and they fit fine. This is unusual for boots and skinny jeans for me.

hate - saw my 18yr old today.
Noticed boots immediately (I did a "fuck the nice weather I have new boots" today). Brown cord dress from pic, boots and no tights!

She noticed them immediately and had boot envy.
Safe to say we are "on point" with the boots. Wear with pride and style!

I've packaged mine away for now until it gets colder. It was 29°C and sticky and humid here yesterday 😣.

Now I'm on the lookout for a nice waterproof coat that isn't too thick.

Just bumping this up again as I have taken the plunge and ordered these boots in brown.

They are totally sold out on the Dr M store in all colours except black and so I had to order them from a shoe shop on eBay and pay full whack for them.

Still I think they'll be worth it. Can I just ask the posters that bought them, have you worn them since and how are they holding up?

I have worn my red ones every winter fro the last 8 years.
The year of the snow, I wore them in and out of work every day (3 miles in and out) with yaktraxx over them.
Now whilst they don't look brand new anymore.
They still look pretty darn good!

I do like them, but sadly my calves are too big for the boots I like (Dr Martens and Fly London)

Oh I love those boots! I'm normally a 1460s wearer but they look so comfy and great for all the hill walking I need to do here. I love DMs!

I think they will go fine with dresses/skirts if worn with thick tights/leggings.

My red ones look great with stripy red and brown tights, denim skirt and jumpers.
Also think wooly tights of most other colours!
