I am on the hunt for a REALLY good pair of fake diamond stud earrings... can you recommend any?

I am a horror with earrings and generally manage to lose them quite quickly which is why I don't want an actual pair of diamond studs (plus the £1k cost) but the current ones a have just don't sparkle and look pretty grotty. I ordered a pair from brilliant Inc which were super sparkly but the fitting of the butterfly was really lose and for £65 I was not happy so returned them. Has anyone bought from trudiamonds, carat or any other specialist in good fake sparklers?

My real diamond earrings have a screw release so there is no way you can lose them . They are from an American jewellers so I'm not sure if they do it here .

You can get silicone tube sleeves which thread onto the post behind the butterfly and will ensure you never lose a pair of earrings ever again.

This is a fab and useful thread. Thanks. About twenty years ago H bought me a set of jewellery that was fake diamonds with gold-plated metal, there were two sets of earrings, two necklaces and a bracelet. They all had exactly the same size solitaire diamond in them and they regularly fooled people that they were the real thing. They were stolen when we were burgled and I've been keeping my eyes open for a replacement set. I think either Brilliant Inc or Tru Diamonds might have what I'm looking for.

Ive just ordered these from QVC so will report back when they arrive! I had Diamonique stuff from QVC years ago and they were good, so hoping these are as nice as the pic and video shows

These are the the qvc ones. Apologies for the awful earrings....it's quite hard to photo ones ear!

When I opened the box I though they looked tiny, but they're a nice size in the air, and very sparkly. I photos alongside my engagement ring to compare sparkle and shine and they're pretty realistic. Very pleased actually. They're the perfect size to appear convincing...not too big to be obviously fake. And the setting is really quite pretty too.

Nice size in the ear, not air.

I mean apologies for the awful pics! The earrings are lovely!

Try Indian jewelers for screw on.

I buy packs of backs - I often lose the back in bed but strangely the stud stays in, I just replace the back.

I ordered matching stud earrings and a pendant from Brilliant Inc in the end. They arrived this morning and look lovely, but unfortunately they have sent the wrong pendant so they don't match. I've emailed them about it and am waiting to hear back from them.
