shopafrolic · 23/07/2016 07:26

Not sure if I'm more excited about Cyprus or the prospect of some of Amber's shoes. Close call. Grin

Have a great holiday shop - we loved Cyprus Smile

Longislandicetee · 23/07/2016 08:11

morning Shop! Very excited for you. can't wait to see pics!

so it's 8am and I have already had to promise dh that the clothes will be gone this afternoon! However I have had a brain wave. We no longer have a live in housekeeper so I am going to move my party, cocktail dresses into the lovely empty wardrobe. Dh and I keep saying the house feels a bit big now so I am doing my bit.Grin

Stokey · 23/07/2016 08:23

Viva, I think delivery was 3 days. I ordered on Tuesday and got them on Friday, so not bad.

FedupNagging · 23/07/2016 08:40

Have a lovely holiday Shop

I'm a 4.5/5 shoe wise she says hopefully looking at Amber's shoe collection

Found it! Bardot top I purchased yesterday. It's not TS but DP - I was in one of those Outlet shops and pretty sure it was in the TS section! Can't remember the last time I wore Dotty P but there are a few nice things online.

I've woken up feeling a bit groggy with a sore throat Sad and not happy about it as we're off out to see friends tonight. Think I'll spend the day ingesting painkillers and resting on the sunbed to ensure optimum health. Anyway, I can still drink prosecco sore throat or no Grin

Drywhitethanks · 23/07/2016 08:58

Prose co will dull the pain Fedup
I'm ordering The New Woman but have lost the title of the other one.....The something of Love....can you remind me?

Longislandicetee · 23/07/2016 09:18

I am wearing this Desigual dress which some may recognise from a MU 3 years ago. It's lovely but the model is flat and I am booby-ish so it's a bit eye popping. Also it's an xs, which means it's a bit loose on the waist (good as no summer dress should be tight!) but I think my shoulders might be narrow so it's dropping off my shoulders and keeps exposing my bra. I am on a little half day trip alone and so far I have had 2 women compliment me which made me smile and unfortunately a few blokes leer. Hmm

I can't imagine trying to walk in Amber's skyscraper shoes!Grin

BerniceBobsHerHair · 23/07/2016 09:38

Wow Blingy what a cull. Lovely that lots of bits are winging their way to Voguettes. That Desigual dress is a really pretty.

I like the top Fedup - how is the fit, I would worry about it pinging up and so would walk around geisha-like.

Dry I don't have anything to add re the 10k but sure you will be great and yes, walk bits if you have to. Just make sure you take lots of water if it is going to be a hot day.

Shop have a fab holiday. Has Marsha gone already?

I am another who will be waiting avidly for Amber's shoe cull. I am sure I can shoehorn my 6.5s into some of them stepsister style

shopafrolic · 23/07/2016 10:08

Yeah Bernice - Marsha is already there. We may have found a venue for a beach MU...... :)

libertydoddle · 23/07/2016 10:10

I remember you wearing that dress Blingy. My first MU! It does look great on you.
We're off to a one day music festival today. Wearing the Zara red maxi skirt and off white H&M T-shirt with a sequinned palm tree design. Rocket dog flip flops for comfort and big floppy hat! Weather looks perfect, yipee!!

Dreamqueen · 23/07/2016 12:05

Lovely dress Blingy.

Tried on my Outnet order this morning. They're all keepers. The Petit Bateau sizing is a bit weird though. Some of the large tops are smaller fitting than the medium but glass that I didn't kid myself into thinking that I could squeeze into a small.

Had a wonderful surprise this morning DS phoned at 6.30am saying Mum what's for breakfast? They live over a 100 miles away and him and DIL left home in the early hours for a surprise visit SmileSmileI cooked a full breakfast and we ate outside. They're here until Monday.

I had great plans for doing a cull in the style of Blingy but that's gone out the window now. In the garden in shorts and bikini top wondering "what's a respectable time to open the first bottle of prosecco?"

Hope everyone who's on hols has a fab time.

QueenC1 · 23/07/2016 14:52

Any time after midday is acceptable dream
Love that top fedup

I'm wearing my new next dress and getting stuff ready for friends to come round.

MarshaBradyhot · 23/07/2016 15:31

Omg I'm in! It must be easier to join MI5 security than it is to post from holiday when you can't access Mn from your phone and have forgotten all passwords.

Tg I can post. I've been itching to say thanks for all your birthday messages! Flowers holiday is ace, the weather is absolutely perfect - 30 etc- and great beach and pool. The crucials!

Will post properly when I get over how hard this was Grin

FedupNagging · 23/07/2016 16:19

Waves to Marsha - happy holidays; hope you and Shop manage a mini mu.

Dry the book is 'The improbability of love' by Hannah Rothschild. Was it you that recommended 'I let you go' ? I couldn't put it down! Good luck tomorrow.

Bernice I'll let you know if the shoulder bits ride up - that thought has also crossed my mind but we'll see.

What a lovely surprise Dream. Am guessing the prosecco is now open?!

Have a lovely evening everyone.

Drywhitethanks · 23/07/2016 19:07

Glad your enjoyed it Fedup.

Out for dinner tonight wearing my current fav outfit;
Jaeger black leather pencil skirt
Stone satin t shirt from mango
Doune snake skin block sandals

QueenC1 · 24/07/2016 07:55

Morning. Feeling a little delicate. It was a late night for all so I'm planning nothing other than a day on the sofa...

Longislandicetee · 24/07/2016 07:57

Morning! So despite my complaining about leery blokes, I had wonderful compliments from women about my Desigual dress all day long, which makes me want to get another one (with less cleavage display!). Lib, I remember that MU now! Weren't we the last two left? hhmmm I just realised there might be a pattern Grin

We went out to cinema last night. Who is the hottie who plays Kirk in the new Star Trek? He was smokin'!

QueenC1 · 24/07/2016 07:57

for dry

QueenC1 · 24/07/2016 08:04

for amber

Dreamqueen · 24/07/2016 08:20

Morning!
For the first time in ages on a Sunday, I've woken up with a clear head. Smile Drank water every other drink last night & it worked.

Ootd is Gap girlfriend navy shorts & a navy & white striped (stripes no surprise) top that I got in a sale in a little local boutique for £8. But the early sun has now gone in here. Might have to change into jeans.

libertydoddle · 24/07/2016 08:34

I have a vague memory of wandering around Primrose Hill looking for a taxi Blingy Grin

That Prada skirt is lush QueenC.

QueenC1 · 24/07/2016 08:52
