I haven't been in a clothes shopping mood for ages but realised today that I am going out for a night away with dh next weekend and quite like something lovely to wear. I shall be rifling through the wardrobe tomorrow unless anyone has any pointers of something that might me!

Oh FFS. Cat has turned up with bloodstains on his collar. Really effective then!

I keep thinking about getting a cat (DDS are desperate for a pet) but am hesitating for that reason. One of my friends has just set up a direct debit with RSPB to assuage her guilt!

I went to the pub last night with some school mums and finally wore the Hush jumpsuit for the first time. Lots of compliments, so glad I kept it.

Wow Dry it must be lovely to be a runner. I got as far as dowloading c25k and no further yet.

Does anyone have any ideas/tips for dealing with sunscreen stains on white swimwear & coverups? I've washed them in every washing product known to man and while they are less noticible there are yellowish patches now. Or which is the best sunscreen to use to avoid the stains???
I keep saying I won't buy anymore white beach wear but have loads with the dreaded yellow streaks. I didn't wear my new white beach dress on hols because it was quite expensive and didn't want to ruin it.

Just been inspecting the damage. Two birds, one dismembered, one left in water play table. Luckily DH here today so he can deal.

I hope an eagle comes and takes the cat to redress the karmic balance.

Morning! I have just bagged up a long Princess A line style Hobbs coat in soft pink (size 10/12), an Ann Taylor tweed jacket (UK 12), heavy Gap winter jacket (L), Petit Bateau navy Mac (xs but really more like an M), Marks and Spencer's woolly jacket (size 12) and M&S black mc (8P). On their way to charity shop unless anyone PMs me to say they want anything.

I also have 8 blouses - all size 8. Deep pink is M&S, bottom right is Primark, the rest are Thomas Pink or TM Lewin

And then....Misebla top in size 34, Hoss red dress in size 6, Damsel in a Dress jacket in size 8. I have the jacket in both black and white. Each of these 4 items have been worn once. I err forgot to return this jumpsuit in size 6 so never been worn. Also this Me & Em dress in size xs has never been worn.

3 kaliko tops (grey, navy and purple are all size 8), the pink top is pure cashmere, I think in a size 10. A few more worn once: Grey dress is Me&Em size xs, red Nissa dress is an xs and the Tory Burch leopard print shoes in size 6 (US). Sorry it's not very well laid out!!

Thanks Amber that is so nice of you! I'll definitely keep it in mind. How funny about the shoes and lipstick. I'd need to drop a few pounds because the last couple of times I wore my Zarita it was definitely a bit shorter than usual and I'm way bigger than you anyway...

Dream I am doing couch25k at the moment. I got to week 7 last year and then got flu and glandular fever, but now I'm back up to week 5. You should start it, it's great!

Blingy your clearing out is putting me to shame! I keep mentally sorting my wardrobe but in reality I'm a bit of a clothes hoarder.

I'm going to give it a go Blair once the weather cools down a bit. I can barely function at walking pace in the heat. This morning I signed up to a years online meal planning and exercise in an attempt to get motivated.

Just bought this in navy as I wanted another dress to wear to work. It looks quite smart at the moment until it gets washed lots and fades but it will also be great for the evenings on holiday.

Sorry I'm an occasional lurker but just wanted to say thanks dreamqueen re the heads up on the Alexa dress. Happened to click on this thread yesterday and it was just what I'd been looking for-really would never have thought to look in m&s!

In fairness Blair, my Zarita is a fair bit loose on me, so you wouldn't need to be my size to wear it. Anyway, shout me if you decide to - I could meet you in Kingston for a coffee and handover

QueenC I want to know how he's doing it - he's a tiny cat for an adult (fits right in to this family!) and the wood pigeons he is getting are almost his size. Clearly a badass!

I think I have cleared out about 80 bits. The 50 I photographed plus another 30 I didn't (including suits, jumpers and joggers).

Three themes emerged out of that or me....1. I shouldn't buy just before my period. I convince myself I am a size 8, when actually I am just bloated.2. I am rubbish at returning stuff despite having a full time housekeeper whose job is to do stuff like that! 3. I still have a lot of clothes in the closet!! Including 28 coats and jackets.

Everything is on our dressing room floor, if it's not claimed by anyone by tomorrow morning then it's all off to the charity shop or else dh will go nuts!

Sorry for not getting to bags and jewelry QueenC. This is hard work.

Blimey Bling that's a clear out and them some! I'd gladly take the leopard print shoes if they are still available, was thinking about replacing mine soon due to baldness is US 6 a size 4? And also the black and white Michael Kors stripy top and the red/white Petit bateau stripe top, please the Prosecco is on me at the next MU!
