Mine is lovely. Really nice leather. My extensive experience of bags is that the mid range ones fair better than the £££. My Chanel was in for repair within 3m, the Valentino has been repair FOUR times, my Dior broke within 6m and my Rocco was shabby inside 3 weeks. Yet the coach, DVF and Michael Kors bags look brand new. What's that about?!

HappyGirlNow · 29/06/2016 21:29

That's interesting amber - I've either had cheap and cheerful (real leather generally but Zara type level) or very expensive (YSL, Chloe, Gucci) up until now but have to say I am loving the DVF bags and bought a couple of nice DKNY ones too.. Really happy with them..

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 29/06/2016 22:05

fedUp no not moved yet, it's been pushed back a little bit so that dp has more time to try and find somewhere decent for us to live. we will be sharing with a close friend so that does make it a little easier in terms of costs and definitely easier in terms of living space as neither of us want to live in a studio flat, we both feel like we'd go mad living on top of each other like that much as we love each other!

In agony with my left arm, i dont know why its hurting quite as much as it is but it's excruciating

maradesbois · 30/06/2016 10:54

Morning,

Crossbody bag is lovely Happy.

Grr, this weather is so hard to dress for, feel like I keep getting it wrong. If I go summery its cold, if I take a jacket its boiling and if I go coatless it pours. Also shoes, don't want to wear either my new stans or Gucci loafers in the rain. Today went for high waist loose navy cropped trousers with navy on ivory petit bateau Breton that is quite short, sits just on waist but looks good with the trousers and suede tod's. Am too hot and coatless and now it says going to rain again later. Can't wait for hols, not long to go.

libertydoddle · 30/06/2016 11:30

I hear you Mara. I am heading into London shortly and have no idea what to wear...was freezing yesterday without tights.

HappyGirlNow · 30/06/2016 13:44

mara love the sound of your outfit!

shopafrolic · 30/06/2016 16:05

I feel your pain Mara so sick of this now.
I went into Whistles today to try on a couple of off the shoulder tops that I had been lusting after. The style does not suit me at all. Too girly I think (and so not practical when trying to carry bags / pick up DS etc.). I spotted this shirt version of my dress, tried it with my Reiko black chinos and my Stans = perfect outfit. Very pleased. ££ for a shirt but the fabric is lovely and you can tuck it in at the front and let the back hang loose. Think it will work with shorts / as a cover up on holiday too.
I returned the pink silk cami from The Dressing Room and also sent back some other bits so technically it was free right?

Shop definitely free by my reasoning!

Btw loved your dressing room keepers, green jumper and blue top. Great colours for you.

QueenC1 · 30/06/2016 17:40

Hello all. Agree this weather is shocking. I actually wore proper jeans (as opposed to rolled up/cropped) and boots yesterday!

I have a dvf bag which is lasting really well considering it gets used lot and thrown around in the car. Would definitely buy another.

shop love that blue top and canntotally see you in the White shirt too.

This is my latest purchase. I had been holding out for a further reduction but I'm so glad I didn't as its sold out now. Can't wait to wear it. I might have to make more Matches purchases as I love the boxes!

QueenC1 · 30/06/2016 17:41

Oh, meant to say thank you for all the ballet flat comments. I hadn't thought of r&b so may try them. The ones I have I don't do a huge amount of walking in but I wear the heels down quite quickly but I think that'll happen with expensive ones too.

shopafrolic · 30/06/2016 18:08

Love that for you QueenC
These blogger's favourite espadrilles just arrived. Glad I waited to get them in the sale. Really nice actually - will come in very handy if this summer ever actually arrives (raining here AGAIN).

Cranagh · 30/06/2016 18:26

I have that Velvet top, QueenC, I've worn it lots already. I have a few pairs of R&B ballet flats, they last well. I get a couple of years out of mine and I'm hard on shoes.

Nice bag, Happy, I love DVF.

Great shopping, Shop.

So far in the sales I've bought this scarf, LKB shoes and Burberry jacket. A bit of a mix.

Hi to everyone!

AmberNectarine · 30/06/2016 18:26

Perfect for you QC

I throw away my matches boxes now - I have no space for any more!

shopafrolic · 30/06/2016 20:00

QueenC1 · 30/06/2016 21:24

Hi cranagh-I'm already eyeing up my next velvet purchase. Love those sandals.

shop love the espadrilles too.

QueenC1 · 30/06/2016 21:30

Who was after pom Pom sandals?

Cranagh · 01/07/2016 00:05

How is your dad doing, Shop?

I love Velvet, QueenC. Right up our street!

libertydoddle · 01/07/2016 06:54

That Burberry jacket looks toasty cranagh. Great sales buys.

I am on the Tube absolutely sweltering in jeans, trainers and trench coat but given the rain they are needed today.

But hey it's Friday, at a casual dress office today and leaving early for a PT session so all good. Smile

shopafrolic · 01/07/2016 08:15

When do you go Marsha

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 01/07/2016 08:24

maradesbois · 01/07/2016 09:31

shopafrolic · 01/07/2016 11:34

Nice purchases Mara - great clutch. And LOL at pic.
We've worked out that we will be 50km away from each other with no hire cars. Not sure we love each other enough to try public transport Grin
Marsha does DH do golf? Our resort is one of the best golfing ones around apparently (not that we do golf at all!). Persuade him to play golf and you bring the DCs to our resort?
Can't wait for some sunshine. So fed up. Feel lower every day.
Cranagh DF is doing ok but we are having real problems with his memory. He paid his CC bill twice and is now over £800 in credit, keeps ordering bits of technology that he doesn't need - think 7 printers and multiple iPads. Very stressful.
