If you spend £40 or more. Has anyone got one and if so what is it like?

Tell me about this hair oil. What am I meant to do with it? I can pick my box up after 12 🎁

MorrisZapp · 12/06/2016 11:23

I'm totally unconvinced by any beauty product in the form of an oil. I have decleor face oils, various hair oils etc but they're all just... oil.

Must admit Stila is my favourite lip gloss though!

Abominablebride · 12/06/2016 11:23

Excited to pick up my order tomorrow. This box looks the best yet.
Managed to get two boxes on the last offer and have used everything in them. Was especially impressed with the Autograph nail polish

gincamelbak · 12/06/2016 11:30

I bought it yesterday with no Idea what was in the box.

I gave the nuxe oil, hot cloth cleanser, ren and citrus hair thing to my sister.

I like the nail polish colour, and the tip coat is something I need.

I am struggling to get the lip glaze to work! How does the colour come out? I've twisted everything and nonethe wwiser.

Tate - but its actual worth IS £120. They are entirely correct in stating this. If you were to purchase the products individually, gram for gram (or ounce for ounce) this is exactly what you would pay for them. No more and no less.

Now of course you normally might not choose to buy this particular selection of products in one go - or at all. But there is no misleading going on.

It's a bargain for a tenner and what you don't like can be re gifted

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 12/06/2016 12:26

I knew there'd be a bloody catch.

cardoon · 12/06/2016 12:53

What's the catch ghost?

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 12/06/2016 12:55

That you have to spend £40 to get something for £10

DetestableHerytike · 12/06/2016 12:57

Well, that's made pretty clear, lighthouse!

Tate15 · 12/06/2016 13:10

But you can return all or some of the £40 purchases and still keep the box you bought for a tenner. The assistant said it's perfectly OK to do this.

LunaLoveg00d · 12/06/2016 14:00

School uniforms are 20% off too, so I bought uniform and then bought the beauty box.

This is what I did. Haven't had a beauty box before, so interested to see what's in it. 10 year old daughter also very excited as she seems to think she's getting half of it. Hmm

wonderstuff · 12/06/2016 15:06

School uniform and buy one get one half price on tees 😀 excited about getting the box, how long does online delivery take?

Howaboutthisone · 12/06/2016 15:08

Forever! To be fair it says 3-5 days but I ordered on Friday and mine still says 'awaiting despatch'!

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 12/06/2016 18:12

. Good idea, Tate. I can't believe. I didn't think of that

WilburIsSomePig · 12/06/2016 18:49

I also bought next years school uniform and ordered the box. Never had one before so I'm looking forward to seeing what I've been missing out on! Can anyone tell me how often they change the boxes please?

Absolutelynothingelse · 12/06/2016 20:37

I have quite fine hair and I loved the Percy & reed no oil oil, I used about 4 drops yesterday and it had quite magical properties on my shoulder length hair. I will, definitely be purchasing it again.

I also used the ultrasun on my face for the first time yesterday and I get why everyone raves about it, so I'll definitely be repurchasing it again.
And like I said previously I pretty much like everything in the box and will be trying it all out. I ESP love all the hair products as we live by the sea so looking forward to using the swim cap and hair serum (which I would have used on face actually if previous poster hadn't pointed out it was for hair)

AllPizzasGreatAndSmall · 12/06/2016 21:25

You don't actually have to spend £40, if you are buying things with a discount your basket needs to be £40 before the discount is applied, so for instance if you buy 3 for 2 knickers the cost of 3 pairs of knickers counts towards the £40.

CointreauVersial · 13/06/2016 00:06

Ordered! Have padded out the order with a dress and a jumpsuit - hoping I don't fall in love with either, as I can't really afford them.....

The oil - use 3 drops, comb through and dry as usual. It gives amazing volume on my very fine hair. It is not at all oily!

jelly10 · 13/06/2016 18:23

Just picked mine up, very excited! What should I do with the Nuxe oil? Smile

Howaboutthisone · 13/06/2016 18:26

Chased them up today on my order that's still 'awaiting despatch' and had a phone call assuring me that my order will be with me no later than Thursday and that everything will be in it! Can't wait now- I'd normally click and collect but I'm ill at the moment so ordered the box as a little pick me up.

MsWorthington · 13/06/2016 18:36

I'm another one who has taken advantage of the 20% off school uniform and stocked up for next year then got the box at the same time.

I'll probably give the nail varnishes to my mum as I have a UV box and won't use them, and DD will get the hair mask stuff because her hair is getting wrecked from frequent swimming, but the rest is all mine.

MelanieCheeks · 13/06/2016 20:51

Wow that's a bright colour! I've just painted my toes. The lip gloss is much brighter than I'd usually wear too.

CointreauVersial · 13/06/2016 22:49

Jelly - the Nuxe oil is fantastic on dry legs, or mix a tiny drop with your facial moisturiser. You can use it on hair too, apparently, but I haven't tried that yet. The smell is addictive.

Or works well on whippets, according to Tate15. Grin
