I normally see stuff in the limited collection but I didn't see anything g at all

insertimaginativeusername · 09/06/2016 22:11

I've never had one before but on the back of this thread I've just ordered loads of new knickers to get one of these!

CointreauVersial · 09/06/2016 23:33

Ooh ooh, is it worth having??

I adored the advent calendar - so many fab products.

Tate15 · 10/06/2016 00:19

Oh lordy! I'm a ruddy idiot!

I am tired it's time for bed and I had a dip in my gift box and pulled out SWELL and read it as ultimate renew and protecting serum. Not a make im familiar with I've patted it on to my face and it smells overwhelmingly of Bergamot.

Then I see it's for your hair not your face!

The products are covered in red tissue with some wrapped individually. Two lots of sun cream. It all looks very nice but no way would it be worth £120!

Oh well!

Tate15 · 10/06/2016 00:20

Eyes are watering like Billy Oh! Don't put SWELL on your face! Grin

DH is now getting some Star wars socks for Father's Day - and I'm getting the gift box Grin

lurkingfromhome · 10/06/2016 07:32

The Christmas advent calendar was so good I got two, planned to give one as a gift and ended up keeping it for myself, selfish cow that I am. The last one (was it for mother's day? can't remember) was also EXCELLENT. They really are fantastic value..

Maybe M&S should just give up doing everything except food and beauty boxes Grin

SymphonyofShadows · 10/06/2016 07:38

There was a sparks special offer box at the beginning of May that was good too. I think it was Best of British but you had to order it. I missed the Mother's Day one though.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 10/06/2016 09:44

My plan for the day is to treat myself to the box if I am good and finish my chores this morning. I always save up a few M&S basics wants (knickers, regular beauty products that I buy there, clothes for DS) for when they have a 20% discount code but I will take the box instead! even though I still have a cupboard full of half used products from the advent calendar

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/06/2016 09:55

Instore do you have to wait till you get to the counter and ask or are they on display?

Tate15 · 10/06/2016 10:41

They were on display at Fforestfach. A whole table full of them.

SymphonyofShadows · 10/06/2016 10:54

I've just been to one just off the M25 in Herts and there were piles of them as you go through the door and all over the sales floor. People are asked at the tills too, they were showing someone the contents at the till when I walked past.

Tate15 · 10/06/2016 11:08

For a tenner it is brilliant if you were going to spend the £40 to get it anyway.

prettywhiteguitar · 10/06/2016 11:21

But the point is it doesn't cost £120, it costs £10 if you spend £40 !

A travel size sun cream is £4.50 and nail varnish is £6 so I think it's great !

SymphonyofShadows · 10/06/2016 11:26

The Stila lip glaze is around a tenner isn't it?

Bubbinsmakesthree · 10/06/2016 11:54

I can see how they get to £120 - the Rodial Dragons Blood stuff is really expensive - that must be £15-£20 worth alone.

Howaboutthisone · 10/06/2016 12:40

You are bad influences! I can onto style and beauty looking for facial suncream recommendations and have just been on m and s website ordering goodies including the beauty box. I'm ill at the moment so it's going to really cheer me up though so thank you!

Howaboutthisone · 10/06/2016 15:18

Just had email telling me my order has been delayed and will be delivered by weds 15 (it was standard 3-5 day delivery anyway so not sure how that's a delay!). I hope there's not going to be an out of stock on the beauty box now!

KanyesVest · 10/06/2016 17:16

Just sent dh to plead for one on an in store pick up of some shirts he ordered online. Fingers crossed!
