First date at Springsteen Gig

Could you suggest a cool and not too "try hard" outfit for a Springsteen gig?

Early 40s, busty, size 16. I guess I'll need layers as early June is unpredictable?

My style icon is Kirstie Allsopp (similar looks) so I'm a bit all at sea!

It's a football stadium, of course there are toilets. Problem for me (being the same age as Bruce, but not in as good condition) will be getting up and down all the bloody steps to the loos. My daughter and I will be there and again in Coventry the week after. He's playing mostly stuff from The River, one of my favourite LPs, so I'm looking forward to it. Jeans, top, jacket and my most comfortable flat shoes is my usual attire.

Steps and me are strangers.

I've just realised that I haven't got my tickets yet for Wednesday's gig in Manchester. I booked through Ticketmaster and will have to print the tickets, but they're not available yet. It's in two days time!

Yes it is bloody early - and DH never likes to miss a note - I have bitter memories of my supposed 50th birthday treat to see Clapton at the Albert Hall. Had to snatch a quick a snack and then endure the support act for hours.

I went to that Hyde park Bruce gig where he was singing with Paul mc cartney and they turned the sound off.
By then I needed a wee so desperately I wasn't bothered. I've never felt pain like it (we were near the front and jammed in)

My sister went to see him in 1975 at Hammersmith. That must have been a fantastic gig.
