Can anyone give me hope that my post-breastfeeding boobs will 'reinflate'?

Am feeling very unattractive. Post baby my figure has changed loads. I'm the same weight, but my bum is bigger (WTF?) and my boobs are tiny empty pouches. I can handle the big bum, but is it true that my boobs may fill out a bit? I stopped feeding in February. If not, I may have to consider a boob job!

Mine never did, sorry. I think other people have had more luck. It's not a given though.

Gatekeeper · 10/05/2016 17:53

mine came back champion Grin . Slightly lower down than they had been before but they regained their volume after about eight months

My feet however, never went back but have remained splathery wide flappers Angry

Gatekeeper · 10/05/2016 17:54

I was 41 as well so no spring chicken

GoulashSoup · 10/05/2016 17:56

Mine did. Looked like deflated balloons for quite a while though, but about the same as pre DS 2.5 yrs after stopping feeding. I think it's mostly luck, but massaging the skin with lots of moisturiser and a few press ups won't hurt.

sleepyhead · 10/05/2016 17:56

Mine did. Took a while though, possibly as long as a year.

lovelilies · 10/05/2016 17:57

Mine didn't Sad
Pregnant with dc3 now so enjoying having boobs again!

freshprincess · 10/05/2016 21:30

I'm the same size after as I was before, I'm a G cup though so perhaps that makes a difference?

They're quite q bit lower than before though.

JohnCheese · 10/05/2016 21:44

Nope. They look like deflated balloons.
Sorry.
I am overall thinner tho! Lost any baby weight very easily and with a little bit of watching, have kept it off relatively easily. So far. Grin

Pisssssedofff · 10/05/2016 21:45

Only with surgery 😁

signalred · 10/05/2016 21:51

Mine didn't Sad waited a year nothing happened so had to pay 4K to have them filled back up X

toffeeboffin · 10/05/2016 21:55

They'll reinflate. Mine did.

Eat lots of fat though.

snowgirl1 · 10/05/2016 21:58

Mine did. DH says they're the same shape as before, but just feel different (softer, squidgier - less firm!).

Fuzzypeggy · 10/05/2016 21:58

No reinflation here I'm afraid. Lost all fullness at the top

AgathaMystery · 10/05/2016 22:02

Same as Peggy Sad

JohnCheese · 10/05/2016 22:04

Yip, lost fullness at the top.

Mine did.

I had a few months of utter shallow depression after stopping breastfeeding DC2. Even went for a free chat about a boob job (where they rightly told me to wait a year and then think again ).

In the meantime they came back and are now a 32DD (have lost a cup size) but just as perky as before. It did take a while but hang on in there!

bigbuttons · 10/05/2016 22:10

Yes, I agree re losing fullness on top.

DinosaursRoar · 10/05/2016 22:11

2.5 years since I stopped feeding DC2, still empty. Sad can scoop them up into a bra but I hate them. I don't have £4k to get them refilled, so I'm stuck with them.

Nabootique · 10/05/2016 22:11

Mine did but would also say a little less full at the top.

BabyGanoush · 10/05/2016 22:12

Mine Came back a bit bigger and nicer (freak of nature) , but took 6 months to a year.

Went up a cup size (before babies a b, after breastfeeding a, now c)

JeffFromTheDailyMail · 10/05/2016 22:13

Mine didn't. Will be purchasing new filling for them in due course

Mine never went down after breastfeeding. But then I never fully lost the baby weight, so maybe that's why.

toptomatoes · 10/05/2016 22:17

Mine took a year to reinflate after breastfeeding each time (3 DC). I was panicking a bit this time as it took a year to notice any improvement but they are definitely better now if not completely their former selves! Feb is not long at all.
